[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Razor Hand & Blade Refill set itself apart from the others I've tried and used thus far as it was able to cut the hair sufficiently while preventing any skin irritation. I had zero bumps and a smooth shave...bottom line: great shave! I have already let others know how great it worked and will definitely be buying this in the future. So glad I finally got to try it!

Gillette's SkinGuard Razor shaved my head and neck so smoothly with leaving razor bumps. The razors were also heavy duty and lasted me almost a week before I had to replace it. Other razors only last no more than three shaves. I will definitely be buying this brand again!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from sensitive skin with ingrown hairs when I shave, and I've always struggled to find a blade that truly helped this. I kept going up in blade count thinking I need a closer, smoother shave but it only seemed to make it worse. So I dropped my blade count down to 3 and while it worked better than my 4 blade, I still occasionally suffered from razor burn and ingrown hairs. When I received the SkinGuard razor, I thought the idea of spacing out the blades was an interesting approach. WOW. What a difference that small a change makes. It was an effortless shave (like my 4 blade razor), cut the hair easy and cleanly but it didn't leave my skin irritated or with ingrown hairs. I've used it 4 times now and every time it's a great shave. I found my new razor! I will say that the end result is not as close or smooth a shave as my 4 blade razor did, but again this was not my objective. I just wanted a clean shave without red, irritated spots. I'm so glad to see the brand rethink the design as a whole vs. just adding more blades.

I get pretty bad razor burn and irritated skin from a number of different blades, these gave the smoothest and closest shave I've ever had. Perfect if you're tired of razor burn.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very sensitive skin and am always hopefully optimistic that when a product states it is "skin protective" I want to try it so I can get a decent shave without all the torture that come along with it. So enter the Gillette Skin Guard. All I have to say is WOW! The way the blade moved across my face with ease made me think that the I would have to go back a couple of times to get the nice close shave I am looking for. I have used Gillette razors for years and this one is the best ever. One pass=close shave. No pain and suffering included. Believe I have found my newest razor.

I have sensitive skin and when I shave daily, I suffer from significant skin irritation and razor burn on my face and neck. These blades provided me with a close shave that didn't result in nearly as much skin irritation and razor burn as usual. Additionally, I didn't cut myself as much while shaving. Highly recommended.

However, I did nick my skin multiple times using this product on different occasions. I shave my face daily due to being in the military so I wasn't very happy. I do use Gillette razors daily but not the "SkinGuard" type. I wasn't aware of them before participating in this program. I would recommend Gillette razors but not the Skin guard razor itself.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Works good, the extra lifter actually does seem to work and help get a closer shave as well. After a while, a shaver is a shaver and there's only so much one can do to modify or improve it, without drastically redesigning it (like the wheel). It does get a close shave, almost as a close as a straight razor (which gets the closest shave one can achieve while leaving your skin on your body). I'll try it out again, it is much better than the other single use disposable razors or even the other types of 2-3 blade razors.

I can however say that I loved the blade on the razor so I would asume that the blades in the refill would have beed just a good. As for the ease of changing the blades I can't say. I would recommend the product because it was very nice to use.
