[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the blade and the storage. These blades do cut down on the razor bumps I get when I have to shave. The storage fits perfectly and it is simple enough to pop a new blade on once I am done using it.

I have had sensitive skin pretty much since I started shaving as a young teenager and now I’m 28. This is the best razor I’ve ever used! It took a little while for it to fully take effect but after about 4 months of daily shaving, all my bumps and cuts have healed.

I'm not a big fan of shaving because I have sensitive skin and I can't stand the irritation from daily shaving. In fact, I generally don't shave every day if I can help it. When I got the Gillette SkinGuard razor, I had two days worth of growth on my face. I figured this would be a good test of this razor's abilities. I was delighted with what a smooth, comfortable shave I got. The SkinGuard razor's multiple blades made short work of my stubble, did NOT irritate my face and neck, and helped me finish my morning routine in record time. The conditioning strips made this razor literally glide over my skin, and the single trimming blade at the top is great for those little nooks that I could never get with most multi-blade razors, like just under my nose and along the line of my goatee. I have tried many different brands and styles of razors over the years, from single-blade disposables to expensive multi-blade, swivel head - even battery operated vibrating razors. The Gillette SkinGuard beats them all. This is the razor I will be using from now on. Heck, I might even start shaving every day!

I’ve been a Gillette customer all my life. I’ve been using their products, specifically the Fusion blades, to shave my head for many years. For the last 20 years I’ve only been using an electric shaver on my face due to the irritation and razor bumps I would get from using a blade. When I saw these blades I thought I’d give it a try while I was on a long vacation thinking if it didn’t work my face would heal in time for when I return to work. Since using the blades I have not had any issues of irritation or razor bumps. I’ve read other reviews about the lack of closeness for these blades. I would say these blades cut as close as needed to not irritate the skin and cause razor bumps. They are perfect in that sense and I’m happy to start shaving with a blade against my face since my late teenage years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor was fantastic at not cutting my skin, the SkinGuard part worked very well even though I wasn't sure at first what it would do to help. My skin had a much closer, smoother shave than normal and I didn't have to keep going over the same spot, irritating it. Overall I would definitely continue using this razor as it seems to be as close to perfect as a razor can get.

Absolutely perfect glide with no pulling or pain. Very close shave with none of the irritation that would typically be experienced by a razor . This will be my new razor from now on.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have very sensitive skin and am always hopefully optimistic that when a product states it is "skin protective" I want to try it so I can get a decent shave without all the torture that come along with it. So enter the Gillette Skin Guard. All I have to say is WOW! The way the blade moved across my face with ease made me think that the I would have to go back a couple of times to get the nice close shave I am looking for. I have used Gillette razors for years and this one is the best ever. One pass=close shave. No pain and suffering included. Believe I have found my newest razor.

I do not have a lot of hair and it is not thick so this recommendation is for the average person with an average amount of hair. The razor was comfortable to hold and use and gave me a good clean shave without any nicks or cuts or bumps. I had never heard of this specific razor but I have used Gillette in the past and have had good experience with the company. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a new razor.

I'm enjoying using the Gillette SkinGuard Razor in the mornings. Its a light weight, smooth gliding razor that provides a razor sharp shave to last throughout the day. I did not see any advertisement by Gillette advertising their new SkinGuard razor, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. This definitely beats my old razor and I would recommend this razor to anyone that's looking for a clean, smooth shave with ease. The additional SkinGuard blades are there when I need them to continue my enjoyable morning shave.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handle is thin compared to the other Gillette razors I have used so while shaving it had the tendency to slip out of my hands a bit. When I went to detail the edge of my beard this became a bothersome. Maybe a better grip on the handle will help. Overall it was usable and more robust than other brands. The razor itself did help with skin irritation but only having two blades I had to go over areas many more times which in turn still caused some irritation. Having thick curly hair this can be a problem. I was very surprised it worked as well as it did for only two blades though.
