Additionally, i have somewhat sensitive skin and usually either get irritated patches from shaving or ingrown hairs the day. I purposely waited 3 to 4 days between each sahve and not once did I have razor bur,n red patches, bumps or ingrown hairs after each use. I really like this razor and give it a huge thumbs up!

My skin felt smooth and there wasn't the usual burning sensation that I've felt with other razors. I would definitely recommend this razor and refill to everyone. I used to use disposable razors before finding out about the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill, not anymore.

I always experience bad irritation from shaving but this new design barely bothered my skin at all! Very smooth, close shave, comfortable to hold, good feel to it, not too light.

Less irritation than with my DE razors and closer shave with less time and effort. Used it with Cremo so can't comment on how it would work with a regular shaving cream like Barbasol. Also wonder how it would work if you let your bread grow for more than a couple of days. When I splashed some aftershave on after shaving no burning face!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor works great with day to day use. No cuts and seems to glide over your face for a nice, close shave. But doesn't work as well if you don't shave regularly. It's not too bad though (the reason for 5 stars), just takes a bit more to get the nice close shave you get from regular use. I usually shave every day, so this works great for me.

The razor worked very well for the first several days. Never had a nick or a cut like I do with other Gillette products. The shave was similarly close to other Gillette products. Skin guard sharpness lasted half as long as the others I have used. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I found the Gillette SkinGuard Blades to be much better than other brands I have tried. The blades cut nice and close without causing any irritation. They are super easy to replace making changing the blades fast and worry-free. I generally have to use a soothing lotion after each shave but with these blades, I didn't have to use anything and had the closest non-irritating shave yet! I would highly recommend these blades to anyone wanting a nice smooth non-irritating shave!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I had seen the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle and Blade Refill in the stores previously, but had not tried it/them prior to receiving for review. I find the SkinGuard Razor Blade Refill to be the most comfortable blade I have used to date. It feels as if it is virtually impossible to cut oneself shaving with this blade. On the flip side, I find that, because of its only 2 steel blades, compared to the 5 steel blades of my regular Gillette Fusion blade refill, it does sometimes require more "passes" in order to accomplish the same shave -- which is something I personally don't really mind. I would both buy and recommend this product.
