I'm not a big fan of shaving because I have sensitive skin and I can't stand the irritation from daily shaving. In fact, I generally don't shave every day if I can help it. When I got the Gillette SkinGuard razor, I had two days worth of growth on my face. I figured this would be a good test of this razor's abilities. I was delighted with what a smooth, comfortable shave I got. The SkinGuard razor's multiple blades made short work of my stubble, did NOT irritate my face and neck, and helped me finish my morning routine in record time. The conditioning strips made this razor literally glide over my skin, and the single trimming blade at the top is great for those little nooks that I could never get with most multi-blade razors, like just under my nose and along the line of my goatee. I have tried many different brands and styles of razors over the years, from single-blade disposables to expensive multi-blade, swivel head - even battery operated vibrating razors. The Gillette SkinGuard beats them all. This is the razor I will be using from now on. Heck, I might even start shaving every day!

Which is good, I had to change the first one after a short use before it seemed dull. However the next blades I put in were great and gave a nice close shave without any irritation or worry of knicking myself.

I always get razor bumps on my neck Everytime I shave no matter what razor or shaving cream I use. I bought this not expecting it to help but i was wrong The smoothest shave I've ever had no tug no nothing I had to double check to make sure it got the hair it was so smooth. No razor burn at all this a miracle gift to men who have sensitive skin

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was happy with the grip and weight of the product. The look was nice as well. For me personally the functionality was less then desirable. I'm a guy that goes two weeks between shaves and this being only two blades didn't work for me. I shaved half my face with this then had to switch to my normal blade because it was taking much to long with only two blades. If this was a four blade razor I'm sure I would have loved it. Being only two blades I would never buy it.

This works very smooth and it's great for sensitive skin like mine. I often get rashes with any other razor I had just given up on razors but now that I tried this one I can definately say I will buy more for the rest of my life. The Gillette skin guard razor is a life saver. Not one did I have irritated skin, red skin after shaving, and it actually saves you a bit of time because you can go pretty fast without worrying about nicking yourself. This is definitely my new razor.
