[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gilette refill was pretty smooth and comparing to another refill it was gliding better. I was not aware that Gilette skinguard razer and refill are available. It is better than my two blades razer and goes on smooth. the only reason I did not give 4 or more was my refills were missing from package. I would definitely buy this again and I high recommend this to anyone who wants nonirritant and close shaving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handle has a great feel in the hand. The gel on the blades does feel good on the face. However this product only having two blades doesn't work for me. I only shave every week or two. With longer hairs this razor is very inificient. Took way to Long to shave. I had to switch to my normal razor half way through shaving because I didn't have the time to kill using this double bladed razor. I'm sure I'd use it on the regular if it came in a four blade system.

I lather with lots of warm water & shaving gel, and gently glide the razor across my skin, yet this still happens AND the razor doesn’t even get all the hair off. Unless there’s something wrong with my process, not sure this razor is right for my sensitive skin. It gets a lot of the hair off, but not all of it.

I have shaved my head and my face with this razor and am extremely pleased with the results of it. The two blade system with the guard in between is a completely different change in the most normal direction that razors head these days. I have extreme issues with razor burn and bumps and this razor caused neither of those issues for me. It was an extremely comfortable shave with no tugging or pulling and very easy rinsing with the space available between everything. This product for me will be a repeat purchase for sure!!

Similar but it seems to not irritate as much. Maybe the slight lubricant that have with it is helping with that. I'd buy this again!

I get pretty bad razor burn and irritated skin from a number of different blades, these gave the smoothest and closest shave I've ever had. Perfect if you're tired of razor burn.

The idea of shaving for those like me who have sensitive skin, this is a fantastic idea! It's extremely smooth when shaving. I really like it. The blades are far enough apart that so far they do not fill up and get clogged between the blades, which is a big plus to me. It never has dragged or felt like it pulling or scraping when using. The downside. It only has 2 blades. At least for me, I have a very thick beard and the two blades just don't seem to do the job very well for me. I have to go over the same areas multiple times and the blades still seem to leave uncut whiskers. If there were more blades perhaps along with the smoothness of the shaving, maybe that would make the shaving experience better, I'm not sure.

This item is specifically designed for sensitive skin so it sounded like the perfect razor for my needs. I decided to order one to test the item out. What makes this Gillette Razor unique is it has a SkinGuard in between the blades. The guard helps to flatten my skin so it doesn't become irritated. The blades are spaced apart at an optimal distance to reduce the amount of pulling and tugging I experience while shaving, which has eliminated my bleeding issues. Before, my skin felt rough and raw due to shaving, and now it feels smooth. My wife loves it! If you have sensitive skin, and you're looking for a new razor, I absolutely recommend trying out the Gillette SkinGuard Razor. Nothing else worked for me before it. Now I can shave everyday and look presentable, and my skin is smooth and bump free. I'm so thankful I learned about this product.

I wasn't impressed. The shave wasn't close and the excessive lubrication was incredibly slimy. I tried it for a week, hoping the shave would improve. It did not.
