[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The skinguard blade doesn't have as many blades as some of the other modern straight razors do, but the ones that it does have work very well. I didn't know about this particular model of blade before, but I'm impressed by it. The shave was smooth and my skin wasn't irritated whatsoever. I'd definitely recommend these blades to anyone, but they're great for sensitive skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I let me facial hair grow out to a little more than stubble. After the first pass I didn't think that it did anything. I couldn't feel it "pulling" on the hairs to cut them. I realized that it sliced them off with no problem at all. After finishing, my face wasn't irritated, red, or nicked. I was very surprised at how well this razor did and would definitely recommend this to anyone who has sensitive skin. The only con to the blade is that it doesnt quite reach all of the hairs on my moustache area below my nose due to the top of the blade being a little wide

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this blade uses the skinguard! Literally this is the smoothest shave I have had in years, I do not feel the blades catch, as they have some distance between them that is filled and made smooth by the skinguard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blade worked slot better than I was expecting ! At first it didn't feel like it was getting a good ,close enough shave when I was using it . When I was finished my skin was smooth and clear . I am giving five stars because although it worked great I just didn't enjoy the feeling of it not cutting through the hair , it almost felt as if it was clogged the whole time .

This is a fabulous razor for us sensitive skin guys. I had a carotid endarterectomy almost 2 months ago which means I have a 3 inch incision on the right side of my neck. I've been able to shave albeit very carefully since the third day after the procedure. I have nicked the incision a couple times but no big issue. I've been using a SkinGuard for about two weeks - no nicks or irritation anywhere even on endarterectomy scar! I can shave normally again! As others have mentioned it does not shave as close as other razors such as my Mach 3 Turbo. It does shave closer than ANY of the electrics I have used. I am more than willing to give up closeness to have an irritation free shave! So if irritation relief is more important to you than closeness, RUN, don't walk to nearest store and pickup a SkinGuard. You won't be sorry! BTW- these blades work with any Fusion handle.

I have long suffered from bumps and had to leave the Gillette family of razors for one dedicated to reducing bumps. As others have noted, this new razor is spot on perfect. I do not expect a perfectly close shave as I know that causes bumps (for me). Congratulations to your product managers, marketing and engineering team for developing an excellent solution (one that was sorely missing from your product line). It is a pleasure to be back!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very smooth shave. I have very sensitive skin that is prone to irritation but this blade gave me the most comfortable shave I have ever had. It glides smoothly across my skin with no burning sensation after. I will definitely continue to use this blade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the blade and the storage. These blades do cut down on the razor bumps I get when I have to shave. The storage fits perfectly and it is simple enough to pop a new blade on once I am done using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was pleasantly surprised by this razor. The handle is designed ergonomically and the blade refill goes on and off smoothly. Seems very sturdy and feels like it will last a good amount of time. I work outside all day and, during winter, my face is wind burnt and sensitive. This blade does not cause any irritation and less pulling during my shave. I currently use a subscription blade service for the convenience. Unfortunately, the quality of those products have diminished over the past year. The Gillette blade has a skin guard that works well for its purpose. I was not aware of this new blade prior to receiving it, but I will be looking for it. Would certainly recommend.
