[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I generally shave twice a week , so when I shave I have a bit of a stubble. I sometimes have razor burns and the existing Gillette blades that I use gives me a clean shave but also sometimes tugs at the hair. Using this razor instead, I experienced a noticeable difference. Though it took a couple more strokes than my existing razor due to lesser number of blades, it also gave a smoother and more comfortable shave. The 2 blades are separated by a plastic peg which is smooth against the skin and avoids pulling and tugging of hair. There is also an additional lubricating strip at the bottom making it glide on skin. The precision blade at the back is handy as well. The handle is great as well and provides ample grip even when wet. The good part is the blade and handle, both are cross compatible with my Gillette Fusion razor and blade, sans the pivoting head. Its a good change up razor for when you want a comfortable shave rather than a quick close shave.

It only has 2 blades that are perfectly spaced and skin guards that keeps the razor from getting deep on the skin. My face cleared up the first time that it was used. All bumps were gone by the second shave with this razor. If you are having razor bump problems, definitely give this razor a try.

I do not have a lot of hair and it is not thick so this recommendation is for the average person with an average amount of hair. The razor was comfortable to hold and use and gave me a good clean shave without any nicks or cuts or bumps. I had never heard of this specific razor but I have used Gillette in the past and have had good experience with the company. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a new razor.

After trying the Gillette SkinGuard Razor I've changed my mind. There is a difference. And the difference is quality. The razor handle is easy to control and very easily glides across the skin without irritation while giving a beautiful shave. I would absolutely recommend this razor. I'm done with cheap razors. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette has had my business for over a decade, and one of my favorite things about their razor setup is the handle. I even used the battery-operated handle for a while, but found it wasn't necessary for a good shave (for me); this blade doesn't have batteries, which was fine with me. All Gillette handles, including this one, are sturdy but light. This handle lives up to Gillette's high standards, and I'd recommend it to anyone wanting a good shave and who can afford the refill blades.

I've used Gillette's blades for years, and have never had an issue. I bought a four pack of these blades to try them out, and received really bad razor bumps after two days. I continued to use them for a week, though the bumps have gotten worse. I had to go back to a traditional five blade razor.
