I’ve been a Gillette customer all my life. I’ve been using their products, specifically the Fusion blades, to shave my head for many years. For the last 20 years I’ve only been using an electric shaver on my face due to the irritation and razor bumps I would get from using a blade. When I saw these blades I thought I’d give it a try while I was on a long vacation thinking if it didn’t work my face would heal in time for when I return to work. Since using the blades I have not had any issues of irritation or razor bumps. I’ve read other reviews about the lack of closeness for these blades. I would say these blades cut as close as needed to not irritate the skin and cause razor bumps. They are perfect in that sense and I’m happy to start shaving with a blade against my face since my late teenage years.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have sensitive skin & I get ingrown hairs very easily. I have an area on my face that was burned, so the skin texture is uneven & bumpy. I also have facial hairs that grow in different directions in my beard area. These razors were able to handle giving me a very close shave, handle the hairs growing in different directions on bumpy skin, & I didn't get any razor bumps or ingrown hairs. They are easy to replace - no complex removal and reapplication. This razor is an excellent purchase!

Absolutely, positively, 1000% the most comfortable, pull-free shave I have ever had. ALSO, the shave STAYS comfortable for a long time. Many shaves per refill. As others have observed, the shave is not quite as close as with Proglide, but as comfortable as this is, I can shave every day if I want to, which I can't do with most blades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Blade Refill was easy to use and the blade provided a close, comfortable shave. With my old razor I had to shave every other day with the Gillette SkinGuard Razor I can go up to 3 days between shaves and still look clean-shaven.

No need to mention that these are the best razors out there as everyone should know by now Gillette makes the best razor. I have experienced the best results in combination with my dry, sensitive, acne prone skin. Its the price everyone complains about not the quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical but this razor really does work. Less irritation than with my DE razors and closer shave with less time and effort. Used it with Cremo so can't comment on how it would work with a regular shaving cream like Barbasol. Also wonder how it would work if you let your bread grow for more than a couple of days. When I splashed some aftershave on after shaving no burning face!

Soo disappointed. Unless I just had a defective one, I wouldnt take another one if it was free. Change my mind Gillette.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like these blades. They are easy to replace on the gillette razor, the glide strip is smooth and easy on your face. Gentle, but nice close shave with no tugging. Love these blades, love the razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this razor. It handles real well and shaves really smooth. And the sensitive skin razor does real good on my sensitive skin. I recommend this razor if you have sensitive skin. The blades are easy to change out.

It might be that I am used to razors that have more blades but with only 2 I thought I had to go over my face a couple of times. Keep in mind, I only shave 1 to 2 times a week. I just don't grow facial hair that fast - just like my dad.
