[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] It shaved very smoothly with no tug-back. It felt very light but gave a very close shave. The edging blade was precise and easy to use. Even with my normal 5 blade, I usually get red marks on my neck and I did not get any with this razor. It was, by far, the most comfortable razor I've ever used. I will be buying this brand going forward and recommending it to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm giving the Gillette SkinGuard Razor four stars because I am very particular with my grooming products. First and foremost, I love Gillette and the SkinGuard Razor was fantastic! I'll start with the positives. The razor was incredibly sharp and cut through my course hairs with ease. It truly was the proverbial hot knife through butter. The razor never snagged nor grabbed the hair during my strokes. A soft smooth pull and the stroke left my cheek silky smooth. The lubrication before and after the blades was great too and over the next few days the skin irritation that I normally get with a clean shave was minimal. The only negative I have is that I'm not a fan of thicker blades...meaning five blades in the Fusion series than the three blades in the Mach3 series. I feel the Mach3 series blades are easier to maneuver around my face. I'd love to see this SkinGuard Razor as the same size as the Mach3 dimensions.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor blades are convenient. The cooling strip definitely makes your face feel cool, at least until it wears out. I have found these blades have impressive durability as well, as they can be used continuously for quite a while before having to change blades (though some parts do wear out before the blades do). Eventually, the blades do seem to dull with repeated usage. The way they are designed allows for some give and mobility with the razor, which makes shaving along a curved part of one's face or neck easier. Overall, these blades are good quality.

With the Gillette Skinguard Razor, I did not have that problem. I was pleasantly surprised! This is great razor, and the blades are spaced perfectly for no rash. Highly recommend this for people who have sensitive skin.

Light handle that is comfortable to hold while shaving. I loved the smoothness of the shave when done. I am definitely sold on this one for sure. I will continue to use this razor

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have to say that I like this more than i initially thought that I would. When it first arrived, I noted immediately that it only had two blades...and thought that it would not perform well because of it. I was wrong. This razor is the most comfortable shave I have gotten from a blade...not only the first shave, but the the 40th as well. I glides effortlessly over my face using any kind of shave preparation with no discomfort. It is NOT the closest shave that I have ever gotten from a blade..but it is in the top two thirds. I have noticed that there is allot of lubricant strip surrounding the blade and you have to watch to store the razor blade side up or the lube strip will stick to the surface of the shower stall or counter. I also did NOT notice (until it was too late) that it had one of those trim blades on the back of the cartridge. Because I did not notice, I cut the bottom of my chin. The one thing that I will say that took a star away is that when I went to the store to price this item, it is no cheaper than the 5 and 6 blade systems. I would think that with only two blades they should be cheaper. This makes my value voice scream at me and it a problem with my willingness to purchase this over other shavers

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really liked this razor. It handles real well and shaves really smooth. And the sensitive skin razor does real good on my sensitive skin. I recommend this razor if you have sensitive skin. The blades are easy to change out.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I honestly can't say anything bad about this razor. I shaved my face daily with it. The shave was close to the skin and my skin felt soft. I also noticed that my razor bumps weren't as bad as they usually are. I also like the trimmer part which helps me shape my mustache very easy. I would definately recommend this razor.

It left me with a clean and smooth shave - really liked the skinguard - no bumps or irritation. 2 blades worked just as well as more blades - cleaned up easily

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I suffer from sensitive skin with ingrown hairs when I shave, and I've always struggled to find a blade that truly helped this. I kept going up in blade count thinking I need a closer, smoother shave but it only seemed to make it worse. So I dropped my blade count down to 3 and while it worked better than my 4 blade, I still occasionally suffered from razor burn and ingrown hairs. When I received the SkinGuard razor, I thought the idea of spacing out the blades was an interesting approach. WOW. What a difference that small a change makes. It was an effortless shave (like my 4 blade razor), cut the hair easy and cleanly but it didn't leave my skin irritated or with ingrown hairs. I've used it 4 times now and every time it's a great shave. I found my new razor! I will say that the end result is not as close or smooth a shave as my 4 blade razor did, but again this was not my objective. I just wanted a clean shave without red, irritated spots. I'm so glad to see the brand rethink the design as a whole vs. just adding more blades.
