[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used Gillette disposable razors for years, so was excited to try this razor after receiving it free in exchange for writing a review. I won't be changing razors any time soon. This one just didnt do it for me. It seemed to miss large areas while shaving and didn't allow for a precise shave up to my hairline (which I can achieve with the disposable razors)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So, yes - the SkinGuard blade felt great on the first pass. Much better than any other Fusion blade, in fact. But... As one might expect that comfort came at the cost of the closeness of the shave. After the first pass, it still looked like I had my full 5 o'clock shadow. After the second, it looked like I'd used an electric shaver rather than a blade. It took until the fourth or fifth pass to get a close enough shave that I was moderately satisfied (even tho it still wasn't all that close), but by then my face was even more irritated than when I use my regular Fusion blades. If you're cool with stubble from the jump, then this blade will definitely protect your face! If you, like me, choose to shave with a blade so you get a nice close shave that will last you thru the day without looking homeless then this isn't for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor is designed to limit skin irritation I believe by replacing some blades with plastic strips. I didn't notice any discernible difference between this and my Harry's razor with 4 blades. Maybe if you have extra sensitive skin you would be able to notice a difference but I wouldn't switch from current razor to use this one.

I have been using Gillette razors since I was 10 years old and have sensitive skin. I was very excited to see the new product and purchased it immediately. Unfortunately it does not look up to the advertisement. It does not shave closely and has in fact irritated my neck and chin. I’ve been using it now for two weeks and I’m already on my second blade. I do not have extremely course hair and was surprised by my shave. Hopefully this product will improve with customer reviews. Unless of course I was in fortunate to receive faulty product.

I had seen the Gillette SkinGuard Blade when shopping but I had never tried it and wish I had. Now I'll never go back and have already recommended it to friends and family!

The shave is phenomenal as it glides so smoothly And gently across my face. Forget about shaving bumps,this is so gentle to my Skin that I had absolutely none. I would absolutely recommend this to everyone. Have Already told some of my friends to buy it.

When shaving, it did not cut my face or hesitate. It was a slippery glide; very smooth. It definitely did the job. Removing and replacing the blade was also very easy. I recommend using this product, as will I.

Have used this razor now for about 4-5 months. It's by far the best shave I've ever had in over 55 years of shaving. The blade glides over my heavy beard so smoothly, without any irritation, nicks or cuts. I don't understand the reviews that say the shave is not as close. Mine is great, very close and smooth. Don't change anything about this razor or blades. Outstanding!!

This razor did not xause any razor bumps, cuts, or chafing. I liked the feel of the handle because it has a sturdy grip and a contoured handle. The trimmer is also a plus because it gives a precise trim for shatp edges. I would definitely recommend this to someone who has sensitive skin.
