[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blade are sooooo smooth on the skin. At the beginning you think this razor is not doing anything.....but it actually is!! Sooo smooth. Finally a razor blade that is comfortable for sensitive skin. I will buy these razor and blades from now on. Excellent!!!

I have been using Gillette for a long time at least since the 80's when I was in the Army. Being in the Army it requires that you shave and be clean cut and this razor provided me with that look. It makes a difference what you put on your face. I always preferred the best, smooth Gillette shave. I am now 65 but most people think I am 50. I owe that to never settling for any other razor just the best from Gillette.

I have bought every razor on the market. For some reason my facial skin always gets a hair pulled and then the bleeding starts. I used this razor thinking why not but expecting to get razor burn or something to happen but it didn't! It was the smoothest shave Ive ever gotten and was shocked ! I will recommend this to everyone i know Thanks for a razor that finally does what is supposed to!!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor has lasted longer than other razors I have tried. The skin guard has helped me not nick my skin and I don't not get razor bumps anymore. I have shaved with this razor 10+ times and it still gives a nice, close, clean shave everytime. I will be buying the blade refills again and again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These blades seem to last longer than others and even over time, I still never experienced any irritation, discomfort, razor bumps, redness, etc. That is rare because the blades normally work well at first and then start to irritate my skin more and more as I use them. That wasn't the case with the Gillette SkinGuard blades. They left my skin feeling soft, smooth, and healthy each and every time. Of course, the closeness of the shave is reduced after a few uses but that is the case with ALL razors. I felt this was a high quality blade and one that I will definitely buy in the future!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have so many positive things I can say about these blades and the razor itself. The blades are in a hard plastic holder so they stay together and allow you to refill your razor easily. Each razor is very sharp, you will get a good amount of use out of each one before you have to refill to a new one. I have used each one about two weeks before I had to switch out to a new one. They last a long time, shave smoothly, and you get a great amount of uses out of each one which is a huge plus. This is one of the best blades you will find for a razor. To refill to a new one, is very easy to pop the razor blade off and put a new one on safely. I highly recommend them.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Razor wasn't enough to handle my stubble. I tend to have very coarse beard stubble and with this razor I was unable to get a smooth shave. I have used many other Gillette razors and have had success. This was the first time using the Gillette Skin Guard and I more than likely won't be purchasing this razor again for myself. However I have two preteens that I would purchase them for as a starter razor as it was light weight and easy to use. I wouldn't recommend this razor for someone with coarse beard stubble but I would recommend it for a first time user or someone with finer beard hair.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The blade is easy to insert and lock and I believe lasts more shaves. With more blades closely packed together, it becomes hard to clean. However with fewer wide spaced blades it becomes easier to clean the blades and hence they last longer with better promenade and fewer nicks. Like Gillette's new shinguard blades. I believe they are budget friendly too.

I couldn't believe how lightweight it was, how easy it was to use and what a close shave I got without even one cut on my face! The blades slide easily along your face without getting and nicks or cuts. I was able to shave with it very quickly as well. It was also very durable and held up well with no problems at all. I usually like to use a battery operated handle but after using this a few times it may have just won me over!! I would definitely recommend this razor for purchase I think, you will be very pleased with it as I don't have anything negative to say at all

I wasn't impressed. The shave wasn't close and the excessive lubrication was incredibly slimy. I tried it for a week, hoping the shave would improve. It did not.
