I've aleays tried to avoid shaving for as long as possible, but now it's become part of my routine. The blades last for quite a while, and the soothing gel strip on the top leaves my face feeling smooth and fresh.

With my normal razor, it always end up with 1-2 nicks, razor burns and or spots that I need to shave again. With the Gillette SkinGuard Razor, I was able to shave without the painful burns and nicks. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Wow, this new SkinGuard razor is unlike anything else I've ever used……it is absolutely fantastic!! Look and feel is premium quality. When I first started using the razor, I didn't think it was working because I couldn't feel any pulling of my hairs, it was so, so, smooth. So different from traditional razors, I was really impressed when that first stroke went down my cheek. I have extremely sensitive skin and this blade simply caused ZERO irritation and no hesitation at all! Overall the comfort with this new SkinGuard razor is phenomenal and it cleans up easily under water by releasing any and all loose hairs. Again, so, so, impressed with this razor, it's the one I've been waiting for!! Thank you Gillette!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was not expecting this razor to be as lightweight as it is , it fits nice and comfortable in the hand . I never heard of this skinguard razor before . I regularly use other Gillette razors , and I always have a good close ,smooth shave ... Most of the time . That wasn't really the case with the skinguard razor . It almost feels like it's not really getting a close shave . When I was finished ,my face was clear and no nicks or cuts either. I would recommend this skinguard razor ,and purchase in the future.

The only thing I didn't like about this product was that it was too wide of a frame to be able to closely trim my mustache area. Overall I got a very close shave and I did like the product.

It glided over my face with ease and did not give me razor bumps. I also used this with a sensitive skin shave gel. I'd recommend any guy with sensitive skin to use this.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I just finished using this new razor for the last week or so. It's somewhat of an improvement over my Mach-5 version. Similar but it seems to not irritate as much. Maybe the slight lubricant that have with it is helping with that. I'd buy this again!

I am not going to lie, I did not want to like this product. As a Falcons fan, the first thing I think of when I hear Gilette is Foxboro and the evil empire of New England. Also, as an African American who has tried everything, I was convinced that razor shaving was just not in the cards for my sensitive skin. I decided to give this product a chance just to mark it as another unsuccessful product and further validate my reasoning for staying away from razors. To my surprise, my skin feels better using this product than it does after using clippers. The shave is closer than my Andis Liner, yet not too close to cause irritation. I can't praise this product enough, as someone who has had a long struggle with balancing grooming for my professional life while also trying to prevent skin-damaging razor.
