I also love the "quick" release button for the blade. I usually tap my razor to get the hair out in the sink and the blade doesn't fall off like others I've tried. I know that's a big NO NO to razors but I'm pleased I can do it without hurting the razor handle or blade. I highly recommend :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Blade provided a close shave. The moisture strip is a nice addition that made the blade glide across my skin. The two draw backs for me are there is only two blades and the handle is too lightweight. I am used to using a 5 blade razor. By only having two blades I had to use more strokes. Being bald means many more passes to remove all the hair. I need the 5 blades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The simplification of the two-bladed razor with the additions of the 'skinguard' between the two blades (to keep them from shaving too close to the skin) and the addition of the lubrication strips before and after the blades that help it glide over the skin easily, makes it a perfect combo. There's a nice addition of a single trimming blade at the edge to keep those lines straight, too! I've been shaving with it for a couple weeks now, and have decided that I'll be buying this razor from now on.

Skin guard positioned between blades so hair is cut at skin level to stop ingrown hairs. Lubrication strips before and after the blade for those of us (me) who need a lot of moisture to prevent razor burn. There is a trimmer blade on the back for tricky areas like around the nose or to edge sideburns. Very happy to have found this system that works so well for my shaving problems.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Razor really lives up to its name. I enjoyed the smooth glide that I don't normally experience from shaving. I was able to get a nice smooth shave without irritation or even a nick which was a welcomed surprise. I tend to have sensitive skin and seem to always get a bit of skin irritation along with at least one or more nicks with other razors. This razor produced a close shave without any problems. I liked the contour of the handle as it fits nicely in my hand producing a good grip giving me the best control. I will continue to use this razor.

I was surprised to see a razor from Gillette with 2 blades and was skeptical about how efficient it is. It has SkinGaurd that is positioned between the 2 blades to prevent skin irritations, and skin burns. I am used to shave using 3 to 5 blades razors so using a 2 blades razor was a bit off for me. After receiving a free sample and trying the new Gillette SkinGuard Razor, I got smooth shave with no irritation, burns or cuts. Today is my fourth day using this razor and the blades still in good shape and give close smooth shave. The lubricated SkinGuard is helping keeping my skin protected and shield my skin from irritation. I think I would buy this razor and refills to use more often and recommend to those with sensitive skin. Got this product for free in exchange for my honest review.

I have used all of your blades over the years and while this one is THE MOST COMFORTABLE for my sensitive skin, the shave isn't quite as close as your other blades. Nevertheless, I cannot give up the comfort so I am continuing on with Skinguard. Please take the fragrance OUT of the Pure shave cream. Thanks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love this new blade. I work outside all day and in the winter, my skin gets very wind burnt and sensitive. This blade causes no additional irritation and still gives a close shave. No tugging or pulling during the shave. The skin guard works well. I was not aware of this new blade as I use a subscription service (quality has gone downhill for about a year). I will be putting the Gillette Skinguard Razor on the shopping list.
