[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Even though this razor had only two blades it was smooth and glided nice. I did have to go over it twice wish it had 3 blades. Overall it's a nice razor 1st time user and yes I would recommend this product to my buddies.

I found that it was more sensitive on my face but that I had to go over parts of my face that had already been shaved since it didn't give a close enough shave. Otherwise it is a great razor that worked very nicely while being gentle on the skin.

It works well on my face to give me a nice smooth shave. I've already purchased more refills. The sensitive option is really great for an everyday shave guy like myself!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGaurd Razor is well named. I have used this razor for 2 weeks and have not had one cut. I have sensitive skin and shaving frequently leaves my face feeling damaged or burning. This is the first razor I've experienced that up, down, side to side strokes don't hurt. My face gets a clean smooth shave without worry. For years I have been buying and shaving with giant head 5 blade razors. This 2 blade headed razor gets the job done. I am only holding back the 5th star (4 star rating), because the 5 blade heads give me a slightly closer shave faster. That being said, I prefer The Gillette SkinGuard Razor overall due to the comfort and gentleness. The razor burn I used to feel from my old razors is just a memory now.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to trying this Gillette SkinGuard razor I was using a 4-blade BIC razor and was happy with it overall. This SkinGuard razor only has 2 blades which are spaced quite a ways apart, so far that there's actually a plastic bar in between the blades which is textured such that I think it's supposed to help align the hair for the next blade to pick up. I was surprised that with only two blades it was able to cut just as well as my 4-blade BIC but with the added advantage of not getting clogged up nearly as much. I have thick hair so all multi-bladed razors tend to get clogged up fairly quickly and I'm constantly running them under the shower head and tapping them against the shelf to dislodge the hair. With this razor I barely had to do that at all, just run it under the shower a couple times and that was for doing my entire face and head. I also like that these blades use the same handle as my Gillette ProGlide razor. I didn't really care for the ProGlide blades so I've just had it sitting around not being used. These handles are nice because they're metal so feel solid, but also have rubber grips making them easy to hold. Also, the heads snap on firmly and stay there. I haven't had a head break yet, unlike some other razors where I have to throw them out before the blades dull just because the connection point broke. After two uses of shaving my face and head, the white strip along the top of the blade is almost completely worn down, so I think that part could be improved, made a bit more durable, but other than that I really like these blades.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These blades do everything I could wish for from a razor. It provides a smooth shave with literally no pulling of the folicles. It's a very smooth shave which leaves literally no irritation. I will be switching to these heads immediately!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Razor works great for a nice smooth shave. I saw a decrease in razor bumps so it does really help with sensitive skin. It was a close shave without as much irritation. The only bad part I found was the blades didn't stay sharp near as long as other Gillette products but they also aren't as expensive so it balances out.
