I saw a review of this razor and wanted to give it a try. I’ve had adult acne for years (I’m 31) related to dry skin/ sensitivity to razors. My worst experience was a 5 blade razor. This razor has been a game changer! My face looks better than ever. It has a moisturizing bar on both sides of the razor and they are separated, so the shave is still close. I even up-shave with it, and have no problems. This is a very high quality razor- my razor for life- I’ll never buy another.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard blade is great for those just beginning to shave or anyone who is prone to nicks and cuts when shaving. I didn't experience even one small cut while using this razor blade. The protection from cuts does come with a drawback though. Because of the skin guard and only two blades, you aren't going to get a perfectly smooth shave, but will likely have a little stubble remaining. Personally, I will go back to the Gillette blades with 4-5 blades and no skin guard as I seldom get a cut while shaving. But as I mentioned before, for those just learning to shave or people more prone to cuts from shaving, these razor blades would be great!

I was skeptical at first that they have only two blades, but I noticed that this is actually a much better option for sensitive skin like mine. These razor blades have a lubricating strip before and after the blades, which makes the razor glide more gently and effortlessly over hair and skin, leaving skin smooth and silky. No tugging, no irritation, no razor bumps afterwards. I've always had trouble finding the right razor that works for my skin, and I can honestly say that the Gillette SkinGuard is one of the best I've tried! I highly recommend this product! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The bald itself I was very skeptical about only having two blades. I was surprised how well it worked for just that reason. For having just two blades it did do a good job at causing little irritation while shaving. The problem I ran into was that because of the two blades I had to go over certain areas many times to get the close shave I am use to. I tried it once when I had very short hair and once when it was more of an extreme and longer. Both ways it was the same thing. For the amount of blades the irritation was good but it was still there just like the other Gillette razor I have with more blades and no guard. Having thick curly hair might be part of the issue. Overall I thought it was a good razor but I will be sticking with my Gillette razor with more blades.

I have sensitive skin and these worked wonders for me, no pulling, tugging or irritation at all. I love that it has a lubricating strip to help with that and to keep the blade gliding smoothly. I will be using these from now on and recommend these to everyone with sensitive skin.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was really impressed with the way the handle fit in my hand, it felt solid and was easy to control. I also love the "quick" release button for the blade. I usually tap my razor to get the hair out in the sink and the blade doesn't fall off like others I've tried. I know that's a big NO NO to razors but I'm pleased I can do it without hurting the razor handle or blade. I highly recommend :)

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Razor is very attractive. It seems to do a good job. I did not lotion it seemed to be gooey on my face. It is as good or better then my throw aways I have been using. One thing I can complain about it is the bottom skin guard came off as I was shaving. I would rate this as an ok shaver blade. I probably would not buy the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill. Prior to receiving the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill test and review I had not seen it. I would not recommend the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill to others.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loving the new SkinGuard blades. They help out my sensitive skin with a comfortable and effortless glide across the skin. No pulling or tugging at coarse hairs. The technology is unique but until I used it on my 3 day stubble I didn't know how good it was. Smooth, clean, and it just looks nice. The razor blade feels premium and causes no irritation on my skin. So happy with this new line of SkinGuard. Don't need to have a million blades on one razor head, they just reinvented the science behind it and it works tremendously.

Also I feel these blades seemed to work better than my current blades that I use because they seem to clear the hair off my face a little better than my current blades and really help at protecting my skin when I used the blades that shave my face. Also I feel I would really recommend these blades to my friends and family and also buy them in the future over my current blades that I use.
