I would say it shaves comfortably for about 7 shaves but I could stretch that out a bit. I do have sensitive skin and these blades do work very well against sensitivity. That explains the reason I have issues after 7 uses. .

I was a bit skeptical at first because I've been trained to think that more blades equal a better shave. I usually suffer from pulling and ingrown hairs when I shave, but have not seen either of those issues with this new razor and blade design. It is a very smooth shave and less hair gets trapped in the blades as a bonus. I liked it so much that I got one for my wife and she also thinks it's the best razor she's ever used. I don't think I can go back.

The rubbery grips have grooves that are great for being able to hold it in the shower. I absolutely love this razor. It is much better than another brand my wife bought me not long ago. Definitely my new favorite.

The handle is solid and ergonomic. And wow, this is the smoothest shave I have ever experienced. The only way I can describe it is like running a warm knife through butter. I will definitely purchase this item again and again. I highly recommend this product.

My only complaint is that they don't last as long as I would like. My blade was beginning to get dull by the third time I used it.

I used the razor during my morning routine of shaving while getting ready in the bathroom. I like the look and feel of the razor very much and will definitely buy refill blade cartridges to continue using it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handle is thin compared to the other Gillette razors I have used so while shaving it had the tendency to slip out of my hands a bit. When I went to detail the edge of my beard this became a bothersome. Maybe a better grip on the handle will help. Overall it was usable and more robust than other brands. The razor itself did help with skin irritation but only having two blades I had to go over areas many more times which in turn still caused some irritation. Having thick curly hair this can be a problem. I was very surprised it worked as well as it did for only two blades though.

I am a frequent shaver and like most guys, simply hated the process of shaving. My face was always prone to bumps and itching/irritation no matter what brand or how much I spent on razors. Saw an ad for the skin guard razor and it has changed my life. I actually look forward to shaving now and enjoy the irritation free shave. BTW I use the pure shaving gel and I love that too. Great smell and makes my skin feel great...Only downside is that its not quite as close of a shave as I would like but still gets the job done.

I’ve been a Gillette customer all my life. I’ve been using their products, specifically the Fusion blades, to shave my head for many years. For the last 20 years I’ve only been using an electric shaver on my face due to the irritation and razor bumps I would get from using a blade. When I saw these blades I thought I’d give it a try while I was on a long vacation thinking if it didn’t work my face would heal in time for when I return to work. Since using the blades I have not had any issues of irritation or razor bumps. I’ve read other reviews about the lack of closeness for these blades. I would say these blades cut as close as needed to not irritate the skin and cause razor bumps. They are perfect in that sense and I’m happy to start shaving with a blade against my face since my late teenage years.
