I have fairly tough facial stubble and was able to cut through without any razor bumps or irritation. I would recommend if you are looking for new reliable razor that offers a good shaving experience overall.

I have sensitive skin and these worked wonders for me, no pulling, tugging or irritation at all. I love that it has a lubricating strip to help with that and to keep the blade gliding smoothly. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I loved the close shave I got with the Gillette SkinGuard razor. The handle was easy to hold onto without it slipping while I was using it. The only thing I did not like about the razor was the wide frame around the blades. It prevented me from doing a close trim around my beard, because it was hard to judge exactly where the blades were.

I used the SkinGuard Blade for about 2 weeks and I must say it is amazing!!!! In did not get the burning razor bumps that I was accustomed to after shaving.....huge surprise! Just to make sure this wasn't a fluke, I didn't use the same shaving cream, I switched it up and used a different kind and even shaved with just body wash and the results were still the same....No Irritation!! I had not heard of this type of blade from Gillette, but I am now a lifelong customer. Another huge plus is the blade holds up very well and does not dull as easy as the other ones I have used in the past.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These refills are great. They give me a very close shave and stay sharp thru many shaves. It was really great on my sensitive skin. Only use I had was a slight issue getting them out but that had had more to do with how the razor than the refill.

The razor worked very well for the first several days. Never had a nick or a cut like I do with other Gillette products. The shave was similarly close to other Gillette products. Skin guard sharpness lasted half as long as the others I have used.
