[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This razor was absolutely amazing. I have extremely sensitive skin and have always gotten razor bumps from any other razor, but with this blade I'm still smooth days later with no rash or razor bumps.

I've used it one time. I have great difficulty under the nose and edge of the mouth with my sensitive skin brand. Often nicks. I don't think I could nick the skin with the Gillette if I tried. I don't use my reading glasses with the Gillette. Sound and feel works perfectly. Close smooth finish. I'm sold.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I'm not going to lie, I was skeptical at first glance. I tend to be very picky on razors as I get razor burn more often than not. In todays more is better world everyone is going for the 7 blades, 5 blades and even more, so of course the first thing I notice is only two blades!? How on earth can that be a smooth shave with my thick, coarse hair? well here we go I thought. The first swipe felt amazing! It contoured to my face unlike any other razor I have ever used! I had to take a few extra swipes since we're working with only 2 blades, but boy was it worth it! Most of the time it didnt even feel like I was shaving my face! I was able to get a smooth clean shave without ANY razor burn

With my normal razor, it always end up with 1-2 nicks, razor burns and or spots that I need to shave again. With the Gillette SkinGuard Razor, I was able to shave without the painful burns and nicks. When used there is no irritatin at all leave me a nice and soft finish and great shave. I'll buy this product over and over again. I buy it because of my brother recomend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've been using a electric razor for a while now. While convenient, it doesn't give the closest shave and gives me some irritation at times. The Gillette SkinGuard Razor worked well for me. The shave was close and I didn't experience any irritation or redness. It was easy to clean and wash away the hair.

I switched from using the Fusion ProGlide series (5 blades) to try this new razor. I I’m having to shave every single day because my little shadow that I have keeps on growing quick with this razor. It’s feels great when it shaves, but it takes multiple strokes to get a certain area. Where as the Fusion takes less strokes and the shave last longer.

I was left with a nice smooth surface when done, without any razor burn. I will purchase these again, undoubtedly. I will recommend to everyone I know.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Prior to trying this Gillette SkinGuard razor I was using a 4-blade BIC razor and was happy with it overall. This SkinGuard razor only has 2 blades which are spaced quite a ways apart, so far that there's actually a plastic bar in between the blades which is textured such that I think it's supposed to help align the hair for the next blade to pick up. I was surprised that with only two blades it was able to cut just as well as my 4-blade BIC but with the added advantage of not getting clogged up nearly as much. I have thick hair so all multi-bladed razors tend to get clogged up fairly quickly and I'm constantly running them under the shower head and tapping them against the shelf to dislodge the hair. With this razor I barely had to do that at all, just run it under the shower a couple times and that was for doing my entire face and head. I also like that these blades use the same handle as my Gillette ProGlide razor. I didn't really care for the ProGlide blades so I've just had it sitting around not being used. These handles are nice because they're metal so feel solid, but also have rubber grips making them easy to hold. Also, the heads snap on firmly and stay there. I haven't had a head break yet, unlike some other razors where I have to throw them out before the blades dull just because the connection point broke. After two uses of shaving my face and head, the white strip along the top of the blade is almost completely worn down, so I think that part could be improved, made a bit more durable, but other than that I really like these blades.
