I was really hoping this product would work for me. I am a white male with very thick and coarse hair. It barely cuts the hair! I end up having to go over the same areas multiple times and have to push hard. It’s great on skin because it barely cuts!

I do not have a lot of hair and it is not thick so this recommendation is for the average person with an average amount of hair. The razor was comfortable to hold and use and gave me a good clean shave without any nicks or cuts or bumps. I had never heard of this specific razor but I have used Gillette in the past and have had good experience with the company. I would recommend this product to anyone looking for a new razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love how this blade uses the skinguard! Literally this is the smoothest shave I have had in years, I do not feel the blades catch, as they have some distance between them that is filled and made smooth by the skinguard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this razor as part of a program for me to review it. That aside here's my honest review of the product. Frankly, it was better than I was expecting. I had low expectations seeing as how it's only two blades in the same frame as the 5 blade Fusion. However, it performed admirably. I normally shave with a double edge safety razor and while this definitely wasn't as close or precise, it shaved closer than I was expecting and left me with very little if any, irritation. Having the blades further apart really did help and I didn't feel the normal tug. If it was free or as cheap as using a double edge razor, I might consider using this on a more permanent basis, especially when I have a beard and am only shaving my neck and cheeks. However, the price point will probably keep this from being my regular razor. But if you struggle with razor burn, want something a little less aggressive than a double edge, and don't mind spending the money on it, then this is your razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many gillette products but many leave razor irritations on my face or get dull quickly. This razor glides so smoothly. The handle feels the same as the proglide etc that they also make. Included in this was one razor and 1 refill cartridge but the cartridge is still sharp and ive used it 3 times and my wife stole it once for her legs.

I would say it shaves comfortably for about 7 shaves but I could stretch that out a bit. I do have sensitive skin and these blades do work very well against sensitivity. That explains the reason I have issues after 7 uses. .

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] it is not perfect ... although it does fulfill its purpose of softness, etc. in my case, using it with a lot of beard caused me to have to pass the 2-blade razor several times to have a good shave. compared to other Gillet's 5-blade razors that works on the first pass. I used again with less beard and work great and the skin look and feel good. I think it work perfectly on short beard.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So much better for my sensitive skin than any other razor I've tried! I didn't get any razor burn at all, which has never happened before. I was unaware of this product before trying this sample, but I will continue buying and recommending this product. The shave might not be quite as close as some other razors, but since my skin isn't irritated after using the Skinguard razor, I can shave a lot more often without any irritation. It's really nice!
