I am a frequent shaver and like most guys, simply hated the process of shaving. My face was always prone to bumps and itching/irritation no matter what brand or how much I spent on razors. Saw an ad for the skin guard razor and it has changed my life. I actually look forward to shaving now and enjoy the irritation free shave. BTW I use the pure shaving gel and I love that too. Great smell and makes my skin feel great...Only downside is that its not quite as close of a shave as I would like but still gets the job done.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] These seem to have helped with my razor burn and razor bumps that I normally get after shaving. I like them so far, I will know more for sure after I use them a lot more. Not sure on durability, haven't used it enough to dull one of them yet.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this razor as part of a program for me to review it. That aside here's my honest review of the product. Frankly, it was better than I was expecting. I had low expectations seeing as how it's only two blades in the same frame as the 5 blade Fusion. However, it performed admirably. I normally shave with a double edge safety razor and while this definitely wasn't as close or precise, it shaved closer than I was expecting and left me with very little if any, irritation. Having the blades further apart really did help and I didn't feel the normal tug. If it was free or as cheap as using a double edge razor, I might consider using this on a more permanent basis, especially when I have a beard and am only shaving my neck and cheeks. However, the price point will probably keep this from being my regular razor. But if you struggle with razor burn, want something a little less aggressive than a double edge, and don't mind spending the money on it, then this is your razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The grip and handle are nice. It moves and swivels nicely. Handles curves like my chin really well. Does not handle border areas so well - such as the edge of my nostrils, the bottom of my neck and the edge of my sideburns. Maybe this is due to the width/breadth of the blade cartridge with both lubrication stripes. It feels nice when I shave, but I would rather have just 1 stripe and a more narrow razor that can get the edge areas better.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] So far this is the best razor i've ever used, this new razor has a precision trimmer between the razors as a skinguard to reduce irritation which is work great, no bump or burn feels anymore, if you have sensitive skin try this razor is a great choice, very recommended.

Where other products might have cheap shaver heads this product will give you a close shave that you want. If this is what you want than I recommend this product for you. I didn't know there was a sample product for this razor. I might this razor again it all depends on what you look for in a razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard Razor wasn't enough to handle my stubble. I tend to have very coarse beard stubble and with this razor I was unable to get a smooth shave. I have used many other Gillette razors and have had success. This was the first time using the Gillette Skin Guard and I more than likely won't be purchasing this razor again for myself. However I have two preteens that I would purchase them for as a starter razor as it was light weight and easy to use. I wouldn't recommend this razor for someone with coarse beard stubble but I would recommend it for a first time user or someone with finer beard hair.

I'd been through Braun razors (great til they drop or break) and Bump Fighter (hard to find) Schick ST (good, just too light to control well) and both of the big mail orders. Five blades is just too much for skin that is sensitive. Thanks for going back to 2. This razor plus Cremo allows me to shave with a blade every day. The trimmer on the back is a great addition. A little pricey, but these seem to hold up well so far, a month in.
