I have long suffered from bumps and had to leave the Gillette family of razors for one dedicated to reducing bumps. As others have noted, this new razor is spot on perfect. I do not expect a perfectly close shave as I know that causes bumps (for me). Congratulations to your product managers, marketing and engineering team for developing an excellent solution (one that was sorely missing from your product line). It is a pleasure to be back!

I was unaware of this product before trying this sample, but I will continue buying and recommending this product. The shave might not be quite as close as some other razors, but since my skin isn't irritated after using the Skinguard razor, I can shave a lot more often without any irritation. It's really nice!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The issue I have is that the blades seem to be inconsistent. The first one seemed dull as though I had used it previously for awhile, yet it was the first few times using it ever. I replaced it with a second blade and this was not the case. The second blade gave me a nice close shave that felt like a new razor ought to, it was actually quite and improvement. I am not sure if the first was a fluke or something else, but I will continue to use for now and as long as the blades are as good as the second one.

When used there is no irritatin at all leave me a nice and soft finish and great shave. I'll buy this product over and over again. I buy it because of my brother recomend it. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have used many gillette products but many leave razor irritations on my face or get dull quickly. This razor glides so smoothly. The handle feels the same as the proglide etc that they also make. Included in this was one razor and 1 refill cartridge but the cartridge is still sharp and ive used it 3 times and my wife stole it once for her legs.

I loved this product. This product was smooth on my skin when I was shaving and is a much more high-quality product than its competitors. It worked well with my sensitive skin, also. I was really hoping this product would work for me. I am a white male with very thick and coarse hair. It barely cuts the hair! I end up having to go over the same areas multiple times and have to push hard. It’s great on skin because it barely cuts!
