I get awful razor burn on my neck, years of multiple shaving sessions a day (military), this is great it is still an awesome close shave and it doesn't irritate my skin. I love it.

It only has 2 blades that are perfectly spaced and skin guards that keeps the razor from getting deep on the skin. My face cleared up the first time that it was used. All bumps were gone by the second shave with this razor. If you are having razor bump problems, definitely give this razor a try.

I think my beard is too thick for this razor because I had a hard time with it. It has lubrication before and after the blades. It definitely did not irritate my skin, but it seemed harder for me to get a close shave. Which I think is due to how thick my beard is. I received this item for free in exchange for my honest review.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice razor. It feels good in your hand and has nice, well-placed rubber grips that prevent the razor from slipping when wet. There are only two blades yet it was a good shave. With only two blades it was not the closest shave I have had but the razor does live up to the "sensitive skin" label. There is a thin rubber guard between that blades that does a nice job reducing skin irritation. I definitely had less irritation.

They gave me a good, close shave and I didn't end up with any nicks, razor burn, or ingrown hairs. A definite win in my book!

I have used many different kinds and all of them claim to leave your face feeling wonderful when infact they don't. But Gillette SkinGuard Blades actually work and they work well. I was able to shave and have no razor burn, no ingrown hairs and my face did feel and look great!! My wife loved that she could kiss me with out getting scratched by left behind stubbles. I have found my new razor and refill blades. And when friends ask what razor I use I tell the Gillette SkinGaurd!!

My skin felt smooth and there wasn't the usual burning sensation that I've felt with other razors. I would definitely recommend this razor and refill to everyone. I used to use disposable razors before finding out about the Gillette SkinGuard Razor Handle & Blade Refill, not anymore.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette's SkinGuard blade is designed for an effective, clean shave with ease of maintenance. I have a habit of shaving dry and this blade seems up to the task. Providing a close comfortable shave I have yet to experience and cutting, nicking or pulling of facial hair after 1 week of use. Additionally I find it quite easy to clean as the blades seem far enough apart to allow and hair retained in the blades to shake loose with a gentle knock of the handle on the sink, yet close enough to not allow the hairs to escape while shaving. After a week of using the same blade it is still performing effectively as I have not felt the need to replace the blade.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I let me facial hair grow out to a little more than stubble. After the first pass I didn't think that it did anything. I couldn't feel it "pulling" on the hairs to cut them. I realized that it sliced them off with no problem at all. After finishing, my face wasn't irritated, red, or nicked. I was very surprised at how well this razor did and would definitely recommend this to anyone who has sensitive skin. The only con to the blade is that it doesnt quite reach all of the hairs on my moustache area below my nose due to the top of the blade being a little wide
