I think that I didn't have any nicks or cuts and it was a close and smooth shave. I'm enjoying using the Gillette SkinGuard Razor in the mornings. Its a light weight, smooth gliding razor that provides a razor sharp shave to last throughout the day. I did not see any advertisement by Gillette advertising their new SkinGuard razor, but I'm glad I gave it a shot. This definitely beats my old razor and I would recommend this razor to anyone that's looking for a clean, smooth shave with ease. The additional SkinGuard blades are there when I need them to continue my enjoyable morning shave.

I have sensitive skin and some of the cheaper blades tend to leave bumps or irritate my skin after I shave. These blades were perfect and I had no issues after using them!

No going over the same place over and over to get it all. I've used one blade several times and it still works as good as the first time i used it. They are easy to clean and I am very pleased with the quality.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really wanted to love the Gillette SkinGuard Blade because I have sensitive skin and often get red bumps and skin irritation from shaving. I still had stubble after shaving with this blade and wished it had a closer shave. I would not recommend to a friend as I feel the shave was not as close as I would have liked.

When I was little, my younger brother and I used to take the blade out of my dad's snazzy multi-mangle safety razor. We'd lather up with foam first and then scoop it up and off like snow. That's what this razor feels like. I had to check the razor to be sure it didn't have a cap on it and then I felt my skin to see if there were still whiskers. No to both. And no razor burn or ingrown hairs either. Who'd imagine that two blades are better than five? The only thing about this razor that I don't like is that I'll have to do this again tomorrow. C'est la vie!

I have very sensitive skin and am prone to rashes and irritation. The handle is comfortable to grip and the blades glide gently across my skin. There was no burning sensation afterward and the shave was close. Definitely found my new razor.

I've used it one time. I have great difficulty under the nose and edge of the mouth with my sensitive skin brand. Often nicks. I don't think I could nick the skin with the Gillette if I tried. I don't use my reading glasses with the Gillette. Sound and feel works perfectly. Close smooth finish. I'm sold.
