[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this razor as part of a program for me to review it. That aside here's my honest review of the product. Frankly, it was better than I was expecting. I had low expectations seeing as how it's only two blades in the same frame as the 5 blade Fusion. However, it performed admirably. I normally shave with a double edge safety razor and while this definitely wasn't as close or precise, it shaved closer than I was expecting and left me with very little if any, irritation. Having the blades further apart really did help and I didn't feel the normal tug. If it was free or as cheap as using a double edge razor, I might consider using this on a more permanent basis, especially when I have a beard and am only shaving my neck and cheeks. However, the price point will probably keep this from being my regular razor. But if you struggle with razor burn, want something a little less aggressive than a double edge, and don't mind spending the money on it, then this is your razor.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] the razor handle has a nice feel, it's not too thick or too thin. i like that the handle doesn't use batteries and/or vibrate, that always seemed like a gimmick to me. the cartridge mechanism works exactly as it should; easy to change out new razor cartridges. No surprises, and that's a good thing.

This razor would be great if it were just a regular twin blade. I'm a clean shaven (head) black male. I like for my head to be baby-butt smooth (I hate the feel of stubble) so I shave my head almost everyday. I used to use a Mach 3 (Turbo) but 3 blades caused too much irritation for everyday use so I switched to a safety razor which caused less irritation but caused shaving to be a more tedious and time-consuming task. I eventually ended up trying Dollar Shave Club and settled on the twin blade they offered. It worked great! I could shave my head faster than with a safety razor, but still get a close shave everyday w/ no irritation and razor bumps, but I hated the feeling of the cheap plastic handle so I gave this one a try. It works good, but not quite as close as the DSC. If Gillette made a modern reboot of the twin blade in the mold of the Mach 3 (Turbo) w/ a metal handle and the complimentary stand I guarantee it would be a hit!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I really do like shaving with this razor. It is very smooth on my face. I did not experience any razor bumps and/or cuts and no breakout from using a fresh/new razor. Would highly recommend this razor!! Even feels good in your hand.

Light handle that is comfortable to hold while shaving. I loved the smoothness of the shave when done. I am definitely sold on this one for sure. I will continue to use this razor

i had a Norelco electric, then I switched back to a new version of the "old school" hand held razor, by Van Der Hagen, thinking okay the Dutch got the clue book on shaving. Wrong!!! So - i randomly picked the Gilllette's SkinGuard, but purposely picked 2 blades versus the most blades. To test the closeness without nicks or pulling. Wow!!!! This razor will refuse to cut me! No matter the angle or pressure I apply - I get the smoothest shave I have ever gotten in over 30 years!!!!! of trying......Best razor on the planet!!!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor felt good in my hand and well contoured and textured for a solid grip. The blade was very sharp and felt smooth against my face. However the attachment point between the blade and the razor seemed flimsy and the blade seemed floppy when not actively shaving. What I really didn't like is that the second day I went to use the razor the white strip on the bottom of the blade was stuck to the counter. If you don't dry the blade and/or store it vertically without touching anything the conditioning strip becomes very tacky. After it was stuck, the blade didn't feel as comfortable when shaving.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a neat product for those with sensitive skin issues. I have never heard of this type of razor from Gillette. I personally have sensitive skin on my neck and this didn't affect me. Although the razor was gentle, it doesn't provide a close shave, which is not my type. I had to use my normal razor to get the close shave that I desire. The design is neat and cool, but it wasn't my type. I would still recommend because it is gentle!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The lubrication stripes feel nice when I shave, but I would prefer just 1 stripe and a more narrow design so I can get edge areas better. Edge areas like near my nostrils, the bottom of my neck and the edge of my sideburns are easier to shave closely with a more narrow blade design. The blades themselves are nice and give a close shave. My only issue is the size of the head.
