[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice razor. It feels good in your hand and has nice, well-placed rubber grips that prevent the razor from slipping when wet. There are only two blades yet it was a good shave. With only two blades it was not the closest shave I have had but the razor does live up to the "sensitive skin" label. There is a thin rubber guard between that blades that does a nice job reducing skin irritation. I definitely had less irritation.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This was a great razor! I liked how smooth it was to use and how smooth my skin felt after shaving. It did not pull or pinch at all. The only thing I didn't like was that the handle was difficult to hold onto and became slippery when my hand was wet. I would probably buy this product again, but I would like it better on a different handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SkinGuard razor is a must for any sensitive skin persons. Other multiblade razors would break my face out and leave razor bumps. The SkinGuard has greatly reduced both issues and cuts close as well.

I’ve never had the best luck when shaving. I’ve tried everything, 3 blades, 5 blades, disposables, electric razors, switching shaving creams, different techniques and still the same exact result... REDNESS AND BUMPS. Some worse than others but same thing every time. I saw the SkinGuard and thought I’d give it a try and see for myself if it would work for my super sensitive skin or if it was just a gimmick. My first shaving experience with the SkinGuard I was comfortable, and easy. I noticed no bumps or redness on my cheeks or neck area and was surprised. I gave it a few hours and still. NO REDNESS OR BUMPS. My second shave. Same thing. Third time around I had neglected the razor a few days and had some red bumps on my neck from letting it grow a little too long. I finally shaved and still no new bumps or redness. I’m starting to love this razor! I can finally have the wet shave experience without having to worry about unsightly bumps or irritation. It may not shave as close as some would like it to but my facial hair isn’t too thick so I don’t really have an issue with that. I would trade a baby’s bottom super close shave and my face littered with red bumps everywhere for a close enough shave and a comfortable smooth face any day of the week. I realize every man is different, but trust me if it worked for me and my sensitive skin, it just might work for you.

This is a fabulous razor for us sensitive skin guys. I had a carotid endarterectomy almost 2 months ago which means I have a 3 inch incision on the right side of my neck. I've been able to shave albeit very carefully since the third day after the procedure. I have nicked the incision a couple times but no big issue. I've been using a SkinGuard for about two weeks - no nicks or irritation anywhere even on endarterectomy scar! I can shave normally again! As others have mentioned it does not shave as close as other razors such as my Mach 3 Turbo. It does shave closer than ANY of the electrics I have used. I am more than willing to give up closeness to have an irritation free shave! So if irritation relief is more important to you than closeness, RUN, don't walk to nearest store and pickup a SkinGuard. You won't be sorry! BTW- these blades work with any Fusion handle.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The Gillette SkinGuard razor handle has a comfortable hold and a good grip! It seems to be well made by quality materials that will last for years. I appreciate only having to buy refill blades and not the whole razor. I would highly recommend this razor handle! I have written a separate review for the Gillette SkinGuard razor blade.

Compared to other blades I have used these measure up really well and are in fact better then most I have tried. I was not aware of these before trying but after trying I would definitely purchase these! I loved how close of a shave I received and I did not really get any nicks or cuts as these blades were so easy to use while shaving. They are also very easy to replace as they release with the push of a button and just snap on with a quick click so very easy. Finding it easy to shave with these also helped me reduce my shaving time which is what I liked most about these. I would definitely recommend these for purchase for anyone looking for a high quality blade that's easy to use.

After trying the Gillette SkinGuard Razor I've changed my mind. There is a difference. And the difference is quality. The razor handle is easy to control and very easily glides across the skin without irritation while giving a beautiful shave. I would absolutely recommend this razor. I'm done with cheap razors. Gillette is my new brand.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor works great with day to day use. No cuts and seems to glide over your face for a nice, close shave. But doesn't work as well if you don't shave regularly. It's not too bad though (the reason for 5 stars), just takes a bit more to get the nice close shave you get from regular use. I usually shave every day, so this works great for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette SkinGuard Razor is an innovation in shaving for men with sensitive skin; instead of adding 5 blades they have actually reduced the number of blades to 2 and widely spaced them for a clean closer shave for sensitive skin. I liked the razor for the clean shave and fewer nicks because of the better spacing of blades. Sometimes less is better and Gillette seems to understand that. Like this product and would recommend to friends and family.
