I've had issues in the past where the connector breaks at that point after tapping out my whiskers and hair to deckog the razor. One thing though, is that isn't really necessary here. The razor has space so I can easily rince away the hair and continue on shaving. That is my favorite part about the razor. Especially since I shave my whole head and I have to rinse and deckog other razors often. I can shave longer without having to rinse it due to the space. I also like the slick part that makes it easier to shave.

The skin gaurd razor comfort strip peeled off during the first use. I probably would buy the razor. I was aware of the razor, but the skin gaurd was new. I would recommend this to a friend.

I have thick coarse hair, I've tried the 5 blades, hair will not rinse out well, Gillete has fived this problem with this razor. Shaves easy and comfortable, not too close to give me in grown hairs, rinses extremely well. Very happy, ndver stop making this razor, and dont het cute changing it, you've made a winner. Finally.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was skeptical since I have course hair and beard and there are only two blades on this. But after getting a full smooth shave with it on my face, I decided to go ahead and give it a go on my head as well. I was still getting a smooth shave after doing my full head as well. I plan to give it another go and see if I can get at least one more shave out of it. Cartridges usually only last me a shave or two so I am curious as to how well this one will last.

I'm pretty picky when it comes to shaving my face and I have an impossibly high standard. So when I say this razor is like many of the others that I've tried, that isn't necessarily the slight it may seem. I would call the razor "good," high quality, and one of the better ones I've used. For that reason, I personally would not purchase the razor handle or blade, but I would actually recommend it to others. I was not aware of this specific product prior to participating in the try-it program but am well aware of the Gillette brand in general and their general line of products.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Loved this razor!!! I normally use a woman's razor but decided to try out a men's razor to shave my legs. Wow what a difference. The Gillette SkinGuard was so much more of a smoother shave and lasted so much longer. I loved the feel of the heavy duty metal handle and the glide of the razor over my skin. I don't think I'll go back to a regular women's razor again. I'm in love!!! I received this razor as a free sample and was not paid for my review.

My face is very sensitive and have tried NUMEROUS different types/styles of razors and my face always felt like it was on fire. I just bought the Skinguard one and tried it. It was THE BEST RAZOR I have EVER used!! My face doesn't feel like it is on fire and there was ZERO tug/pull. I will definitely tell all of my buddies about this razor.
