[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The handle was heavy dury and didn't break if it was dropped on the shower floor. The skin gaurd razor comfort strip peeled off during the first use. I probably would buy the razor. I was aware of the razor, but the skin gaurd was new. I would recommend this to a friend.

I’ve never had the best luck when shaving. I’ve tried everything, 3 blades, 5 blades, disposables, electric razors, switching shaving creams, different techniques and still the same exact result... REDNESS AND BUMPS. Some worse than others but same thing every time. I saw the SkinGuard and thought I’d give it a try and see for myself if it would work for my super sensitive skin or if it was just a gimmick. My first shaving experience with the SkinGuard I was comfortable, and easy. I noticed no bumps or redness on my cheeks or neck area and was surprised. I gave it a few hours and still. NO REDNESS OR BUMPS. My second shave. Same thing. Third time around I had neglected the razor a few days and had some red bumps on my neck from letting it grow a little too long. I finally shaved and still no new bumps or redness. I’m starting to love this razor! I can finally have the wet shave experience without having to worry about unsightly bumps or irritation. It may not shave as close as some would like it to but my facial hair isn’t too thick so I don’t really have an issue with that. I would trade a baby’s bottom super close shave and my face littered with red bumps everywhere for a close enough shave and a comfortable smooth face any day of the week. I realize every man is different, but trust me if it worked for me and my sensitive skin, it just might work for you.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The razor works great with day to day use. No cuts and seems to glide over your face for a nice, close shave. But doesn't work as well if you don't shave regularly. It's not too bad though (the reason for 5 stars), just takes a bit more to get the nice close shave you get from regular use. I usually shave every day, so this works great for me.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After using the Gillette Skinguard to shave through some fairly tough stubble, I have to say I like the product overall. It delivers a smooth shaving experience. The dual spaced blades are nice and are able to cut evenly without razors bumps and irritation. I haven't tried to shave through a thicker beard with it, however for my shaving routine it works quite well. I would recommend as a buy.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Gillette SkinGuard Razor is an innovation in shaving for men with sensitive skin; instead of adding 5 blades they have actually reduced the number of blades to 2 and widely spaced them for a clean closer shave for sensitive skin. I liked the razor for the clean shave and fewer nicks because of the better spacing of blades. Sometimes less is better and Gillette seems to understand that. Like this product and would recommend to friends and family.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The SkinGuard razor is a must for any sensitive skin persons. Other multiblade razors would break my face out and leave razor bumps. The SkinGuard has greatly reduced both issues and cuts close as well.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This blade glides smoothly over the skin due to the glide strips around the perimeter . It also shaves as closely as I need it to, although those with more blades do shave a bit closer (this only has two blades) Overall, it worked very well and I wouldn't hesitate to buy it again.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Razor itself was sturdy, easy to hold/grip. Not impressed by the blade it came with though. Didn't shave close enough to my skin. After shaving, my face felt rough like sand paper. I'm in the military, and would not buy this blade again. Will consider buying a different refill blade next time

I lather with lots of warm water & shaving gel, and gently glide the razor across my skin, yet this still happens AND the razor doesn’t even get all the hair off. Unless there’s something wrong with my process, not sure this razor is right for my sensitive skin. It gets a lot of the hair off, but not all of it.
