We got the unit to replace a very aged stacked unit and I cannot stop doing loads of laundry. It’s quiet, soooooo quiet, can be filled up to was huge loads, and has so many options for washing and drying with even more on the LG ThinQ app on my phone. We are not fans of washer/dryer buzzers, this one is more pleasant and we have since turned it off and I get notifications on my phone to let me know a cycle has finished. I can’t say enough about this machine other than if you are even ThinQing about it you should buy it right away!

My wife is on the less tall side so some stacked units were out because controls too high, This LG is great because all controls are at waist level. Also like the idea of a single unit rather than 2 bolted together. The washer and dryer are quiet and do a great job of washing and drying. The looks of the unit is clean and modern. The WiFi capability is nice letting you know when washing or drying is finished.

Front loaders that you have, does not have a mildew smell after months of use. The dryer sensors work perfectly, drying everything without damp patches. Great machine!

I have a tiny laundry room. When my 35 yr old dryer died, even though my 2 yr old LG washer was fine, I took a leap and bought the tower to make more room. The washer has many of the features my top load had so I'm happy. Love it, love it. ❤️ Makes laundry day almost fun!

This review is about the options I thought I was getting when I purchased the product but was extremely disappointed in that LG could not accommodate my needs. The issue is the venting of the dryer. I searched the internet for a combo unit whereby I can vent the dryer on the right side of the unit. This unit was advertised as being able to vent on the side. Two things went wrong here. First, I was not aware that a separate side venting kit had to be purchased. So be mindful of this added cost. Second, once I spent money on this side venting kit, the dryer could NOT be vented on the right side although there is a pre-cut hole on the unit. The reason it can't be vented on the side is because there is a gas pipe and other parts housed on the right side. The LG technician that came out to install the unit said he couldn't move the internal parts. Now I'm stuck with this unit, I'm out the money for the side venting kit I will not use and it's now going to cost me money to make other arrangements to have this combo unit fit in the space I need it to.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This wash tower is mind blowing. I had a middle the road washer and dryer set, and LG makes a vastly superior product. Works with any size load, from a couple shirts to king size puffy comforters, washer cleans every bit perfectly. The gas dryer is incredibly efficient, cutting drying time in half. The fact it’s a tower is a great space saver.

I regret this purchase so much. I feel like this machine costs me so money to try and keep stink free. This is a terrible design, keeps the drain water in the bottom. Once a week you have to run a washing machine cleaner through it and then a laundry sanitizer and then get on the floor to empty the drain. It still stinks.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been using this unit for almost 2 months and very impressed! the best washer and dryer I have use and I have used a lot. with the washer and dryer being a one-piece unit, it knows what your settings were on the wash and when you go to use the dryer it already knows the settings!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We're new to LG appliances, we have a 2 year old LG oven, and now this washer dryer combo. So far its fine. A little pricey but fine. Its got so many features, I really don't think we'll use but, IDK. I really like the speed wash feature. For such a rather compact size, its got HUGE capacity in both washer and dryer. A couple of things on the minus side, I wish the alarm was louder so I knew when the clothes were done, maybe I can adjust this in its settings but I haven't found that out yet. Also, because the unit is downstairs, I can't get Wi-Fi to connect to it to take advantage of the internet connection. Its super quiet, when we first used it, we thought it wasn't working ! We're both in our 60s now and really don't want to buy anymore appliances, I'm hoping it lasts many more years. So far, we like it.

About four years ago it started failing, so I had been looking for a unit like this every since. All the single units I saw were not what I was looking for. In most cases the washer and dryer insides where small and I did not want to lean into the washer to get my clothes. I wanted a large washer and dryer unit and it fits the bill. It is a perfect replacement, looks good in my laundry room, and it is easy to operate. I also like the fact that when something is wrong, it gives you a code. Example my dryer would not work, so it gave me a code. I checked and the code stated my dryer vent was clog. So I had it taken care of and the dryer works perfectly. I've also been told by several people who work in various service positions, that LG products are top of the line. Love it!!!
