This is the new replacement for the prior garlic butter sold as Chef Sami’s. Used that for years and loved it and now this is the private label replacement. I’ve only used it twice so far so it’s really not enough time to judge its full comparison to the prior. Is it a true replacement? Too soon to fully compare. Is it acceptable, so far yes. Is it identical? Close but currently 4 stars rather than 5. More to come.

I have seen this product at Sam’s and have always wanted to try and finally have! Don’t know why we waited so long! It is delicious. The smell of garlic is just enough and to be honest - the ingredients are very straightforward with no weird fillers. We were shocked that it recommends leaving out at room temp for up to 6 weeks! But it is easier to spread. We have used on toast to make garlic bread, and a dollop in scrambled eggs. Going to try mashed potatoes.

I received the Members Mark Garlic Butter. It comes in a 10 oz container, which is a good sized container, enough for several different recipes. I've made garlic toast and "smashed" baked potatoes so far. Both have been easy and very tasteful. The butter has a sweet flavor but doesn't have an overwhelming garlic flavor, so I would use a little more than normal. Overall, good flavor, good quantity and easy to use.

This garlic butter is so yummy! I love the quality and flavor is amazing. I’ve used it when making simple eggs, mashed potatoes, chicken, pasta, and even on toast. I absolutely love garlic and wish it was more garlicky, BUT it’s way better than regular butter so no complaints.

I have a go to garlic butter I usually buy but after using this will definitely switch. I was worried this would not have enough of a garlic flavor as my go to but I was pleasantly surprised. The flavor was still there and this brand is cheaper. My family couldn't tell the difference when we used it for the garlic butter and herb shrimp pasta dish we've been making for years.

I have tried other garlic butter products in the market but the Members Mark Garlic Butter changes the game with the parmesan & basil. I typically like this on bread (toasted of course) but have also used it to cook fish or beef. Either way, it just adds so much flavor and goodness to whatever you use it with.

I’m a little mad at myself for not giving this flavored butter a chance before now. It’s so good! I’ve been using it to air fry my fresh veggies. No other seasoning just this butter and they are perfectly seasoning every single time. This will become a stable in our household. I also love that the ingredients are legit. Real butter, parm and spices.

I used the butter to season my vegetables and the taste was amazing. Very light and fluffy, with powerful flavor, a little goes a long way. I used roughly 2 teaspoons while cooking then another teaspoon after it was done allowed to melt, which was quick. The flavor is perfect!

The new product provided by Sam's Club does not compare to the original recipe of Chef shammy I really would like to go back to the original Chef Shammy butter. The Sams version lacks the luster that the original product provided. It doesn't have that beautiful creamy flavorful texture that the original version provided although it says the same ingredients are Replicated. It just doesn't taste the same. I was so lucky that I had one of the original versions in the freezer the members Mark version has been sitting in the refrigerator since I opened it.

I use to purchase Chef Shamy however I see it's a discontinued item...So sad because Members mark missed the mark. Tooooo much salt in this product. I used it to make garlic bread and slathered my bread as usual but this was the wrong thing to do with this. It's not an encore purchase for me! Sam's bring back Chef Shamy and in the meantime I'll do it myself
