This pillow has a silky smooth outer cover and a squishy memory foam pillow. The pillow is comfortable to sleep on by itself or with a second one under it. It also feels better with a pillowcase on. Additionally would say the pillow has a slight odor but after unpacking and letter it air out for a few days, it does dissipate. Definitely would get another. Not certain I find a cooling aspect of this product.

So glad I found this pillow, “Member’s Mark Hotel Premier Collection Premium Cooling Gel Memory Foam Pillow”. It has made a world of difference in my sleep. I have acid reflux and need a firm pillow to keep my head elevated. This pillow has helped tremendously! Only has 2 size options - King & Standard. No Queen unfortunately. Nevertheless, if you are having difficulty sleeping, try this pillow. It does keep your head elevated at a comfortable level and it stays cool. Highly recommend pillow for acid reflux sufferers. Hope my review will help others. Also, I did remove the zippered pillow protective cover, washed it & put it back on. Felt it needed to be refreshed.

I've been trying several different pillows, and the last few have not really been cool. Although they were supposed to be cooling memory gel pillows, this one is cool, stays cool and is firm enough that it doesn't just mush, so that my head starts falling in at an awkward angle so I really like this pillow. It is worth every dollar I paid for it although I will warn you that for the first few days, it does have a kind nasty smell. So if that is going to bother you, I would take it out and leave it out for a few days before you started sleeping on it. The smell should be gone by then.

This is a wonderful pillow if you want firm support. It is not too stif to where your head is too high but it does not go flat like some pillows do. It states that it is cool and so far my head has not gotten hot during the night. I have gotten a good nights sleep every night for 2 weeks now. Give this one a try, you’ll regret your decision.

This is made of memory foam. It’s soft when I compared with other gel foam pillows to an extent that it sinks. The clothe cover is nice and soft with zip, to take out the foam n wash. This zip is convenient. Overall the quality of cover is good and nicely stitched. Pillow as such when in use smells of chemical. The pillow is not hard. I feel my head is sinking and leveling to ground.

The pillow was in excellent packaging and arrived in pristine condition. It is made very well--super soft, yet is very sturdy and the perfect size. The memory foam is soft and feels really great. It offers just the right amount of resistance to provide support without making your head rest too high or too low. Overall, it is a great product. I took one star off because when it was fresh out of the protective plastic packaging it had a definite chemical odor. We let it air out in another room for a couple of days before using it and it was fine.

I wanted to mention first that there is a slight odor to this Members Mark pillow from the Hotel premier collections, I assume this is from the antimicrobial treatment applied to the pillow cover as mentioned on the packaging. It does go unnoticed after a little while. The treatment is to help inhibit growth of odor causing bacteria so that is important, I would think. The cover is removable and washable, so that could be helpful if the odor does not go away fast enough and or still bothers you. The pillow is a little firm right out of the bag but, I am sure like any other pillow, it will soften over time and usage. The cover feels nice, it is incredibly soft but does snag easily. As far as the cooling feature goes, I don’t feel “cool” on this pillow but I don’t have the typical head heat on this pillow either so I think the pillow “absorbs” the heat so you sleep “cooler”, if that makes sense, either way, I like it, and the “cooling” works for me! It is hard for me to find a comfortable pillow, one that does not hurt my neck all night, but I do understand that the mattress condition and firmness/softness of the mattress also plays a factor in the way you sleep on a pillow whether it be new or old. Our mattress is an older pillow top on the softer side, and we are ready for a replacement. I am a side sleeper, I usually sleep with a contoured pillow, however this pillow I found to be very comfortable for me on our current mattress condition, my head seems to be in perfect line with my spine when using this pillow, so my neck isn’t bend up or bent down and I don’t wake up with neck pain as I have with other non-contoured pillow. Overall, this is a lovely pillow for THIS side sleeper and so far, so good with no neck pains!

I like to try out different pillows. I sleep on my side and back and want neck support. I like my pillow to be soft but firm enough to hold my head up to be aligned with my spine. I felt this pillow did just that. I’ve only had it for a month so I can’t speak to longevity but so far it’s holding up great. No indents from my head.

Overall, this is a great pillow. It is just a little thinner than I personally like. I do like the cooling foam feature, as I am a "hot" sleeper. The best feature in my opinion is the washable cover. This will allow me to wash the cover. This also adds an additional layer of protection to the pillow to keep it clean.

Memory foam style pillow is a little too thick for me. When placed under just neck and head, my chin almost touches my chest. When under the shoulders and head, the pillow works well. The foam is soft and cool. The new smell was strong at first, after a week it goes away. I like the pillow had a removable case to wash. And the foam is not the typical memory foam, it can be cleaned.
