Very easy to put together, once you get everything out of the box and move it where it needs to go (it's 125 lbs otherwise, and too heavy to move far!) But once you get the frame set up, the shelves are easy to do and I can set up one in about 15-20 minutes (I did 5, so I got pretty fast!)

This is my second set of shelves. They are heavy duty with great weight capacity. I put these together by myself, and used a rubber mallet to seat the rails. No other tools required. I did add plywood to the lower shelf where I have tool boxes. Makes it easier to remove and replace the boxes compared to the wire racks. Highly recommend!

I waited months to find one of these shelves in stock in our local Sam’s. In the meantime, I bougt two, admittedly more expensive, units from Home Depot. While the HD shelves were solid and easily assembled, the one from Sam’s is a real pain. First, it is made from relatively thin steel, but more significantly, one of the uprights was very warped. After struggling to get the upper shelves to connect, I discovered that I needed to connect one corner to the twisted upright and then torque it into position with a nylon hold-down strap diagonally across the two uprights. The required torque convinced me that I needed to leave the strap attached in the final assembly. The unit is now level and stable, if rather strange looking. I suppose I could have returned the unit once I discovered the twisted upright, but these units are heavy and would be a bear to repack. The moral here may be the old adage “You get what you pay for.”

Many storage shelves look strong but are constructed with super light gauge steel that easily bends. This one is better than average, not commercial grade, but feels up to the rating. I like how the end posts come pre-assembled with the cross bars attached, giving better inherent strength.

I might want to knock off 1/2 star if that were a choice, since 1 set of holes didn't line up even with trying to force them, so may have to drill a bit. But out of 5 shelving units (over 150 of these sets of holes), that isn't shabby! Perhaps 6 others took a lot of "convincing", but got them to line up for the pins that were needed. Overall, not one screw was needed and once I got going, it was very fast to assemble these. They are really rugged and strong, and will be a very successful addition to a new shed. I'm really happy with them!!

Exactly what i needed! Sturdy, easy to assemble and affordable. This replaced two snap together plastic 4 shelf rubber ones with lots of room to spare. Can use different heights on top 3 shelves (bottom one required to specific height for warranty) so easy to customize for storage needs.

I bought 2 of these shelf units. They are pretty good. I rated them 5 stars because for the price, they are darned good. The named brand ones I saw in the major home improvement stores were twice the price for the same size shelf. These are adequate for my needs and they were very reasonably priced. Mine were shipped and one of the units had a couple of bent parts. Took a little bending and prying to get it to go together correctly, but it went together fine. Put 2 of these together by myself in about 2 hours.

This unit for them most part goes together fairly easily. The only assembly issue I didn’t like was the pin system used to secure the shelf cross members. It’s not hard to too but is a little tedious lining up the pin holes. The other units like this I have uses a cross member with a snap in to the shelf rails system which goes together quicker. Not a deal killer though. The unit overall is very nice and does the job.

One beam was slightly bent, likely dropped as it requires two people to lift and only one gentleman was bringing it to me. I assisted him. Once I put it together, with a little hammering to get the side pieces in with the bent piece, it works very well and is worth the price and slight hassle.

We just built a new metal building and had seen the shelves on the website for storage. We purchased three of them and have been completely satisfied with them. They are easy to put together and hold so much. So glad we saw them! We definitely recommend them.
