Another upgraded printer from Epson. This printer offers great value and nice prints. The Ink Tanks are the way to go to keep printing costs down. The auto opening and electronic closing of the paper out tray is an unneeded gimick but otherwise it's all good.

The setup was super easy with the Epson phone app. The paper tray holds about 250 pages which is super handy. Excellent print quality and the ability to do a 2 sided print is a feature I use.

I've been seriously searching for a new printer for over a year. All of them fell short one way or the other. THEN I found this one. It's truly an upgrade to earlier Epsons, now featuring a touch screen control panel. MAJOR improvement! It does everything and does it right. Auto 2-sided printing, copying, wifi connectivity. I snapped this one up!

I am very happy with this printer! Filling the ink tanks was a breeze. No more expensive cartridges to replace. The initial setup took a little longer than I expected, but I think that's a "me" issue. Once setup, it works beautifully from my laptop or my phone. I like that the document feeder folds over for a flat top surface when not in use. And it works great for double sided printing, even on cardstock. I highly recommend this Epson EcoTank ET-4958.

Easy to install and print. First few pictures were deep colored and exact, sharp. Then the colors are muted, foggy now. I cleaned the nozzles and the viewer states no problem. I like the tank ink, it was very easy to fill.

The printer was easy to set and connect to both the wifi and the phone app. It is easy to print documents from my laptops, desk top, and phones. The color is very good. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the inability to handle label stock or sizes smaller than 8 1/2 x 11. Loading smaller stock is an instant jam.

So far it prints well and is pretty fast however it really falls short on connectivity. I finally had to set a node right next to it and finally after an hour it decided to connect up. I had already done everything i could by changing network settings to get it to work with no luck. Epson definately needs to upgrade their comms to work better on modern mesh networks.

I don’t think the color is good …tries to print some that was red and it came out a dull pinkish red.

Won’t wake after sleep from my experience Goofy how tray for printed jobs comes out then you have to push a tiny image on tiny screen to get it to close back. Not impressed . Got new drum for my brother and back to normal but it’s just black and white

As others have noted, Epson does not honor the 2-year manufacturer warranty that Sam’s Club advertises for Sam’s Club Members. When you register the printer, Epson only provides a 1-year warranty. I spent a couple of hours working with a Sam’s Club corporate supervisor and also opened a case with Epson. Neither was able to resolve the issue. Sam’s Club’s only solution was to return the printer. If this were a one-off problem, I could understand that response. However, multiple reviews report the same registration issue, so returning the printer does not address the underlying problem. Sam’s Club also would not contact Epson to try to resolve this for their customers. Epson support has also been extremely unresponsive. Their support phone hours appear inaccurate, they advertise Saturday hours, but when you call on Saturday, the recording states they are only open on weekdays. Because Epson is not honoring the advertised warranty, I will be returning this printer and will avoid Epson products going forward.
