2nd o e of these I have bought for differemt locations. I have been amazed how long the ink lasts. This is one of the few printers that will automatically scan, copy and print 2 sided pages with the auto document feader.

The printer works well so far, set up was easy. Will have to wait and see if long term it is any good. My last HP lasted 8+ years until it just died after eating up quite a few high priced cartridges.

The printer was easy to set and connect to both the wifi and the phone app. It is easy to print documents from my laptops, desk top, and phones. The color is very good. The only reason it didn't get 5 stars is the inability to handle label stock or sizes smaller than 8 1/2 x 11. Loading smaller stock is an instant jam.

Many reviews claim it’s an easy setup, unfortunately I did not experience this. I fought with this machine for many hours trying to connect. I was planning to take the printer back to Sam’s, after some serious frustration; I decided to sit it on top of my router….It’s a happy machine now, it’s staying connected, prints beautifully and quickly. So if you’re having this issue, try a WiFi extender or place it next to a router. Enjoy 🙂

Setup was straightforward. I ran into problems connecting the printer wirelessly so I'm using the USB cord instead, which works well. (Then again, I'm not planning to print from my phone or iPad, so this is not a big deal to me.) Haven't really had a chance to gauge print quality yet, although the pages I have printed look good. I'm a little dubious regarding how long the supply of ink will last, but we'll see.

We don't print photos or need super high quality color but basic print quality is great for our basic home needs. I wish the cycling white light on the on/off button could be turned off, our office is a cubby off of our bedroom and i had to tape a piece of paper over it. We've only had it two weeks but so far it's all good, hopefully it will last a long time!

The Epson EcoTank ET-4958 Wireless All-in-One Color Supertank Printer is a great printer. I have never had an ink tank and have a few things to learn about it's benefits. The paper tray does not hold legal size paper. The printer is much slower than our HP8600 printer which uses expensive cartridges that Sam's no longer carry.

So far it prints well and is pretty fast however it really falls short on connectivity. I finally had to set a node right next to it and finally after an hour it decided to connect up. I had already done everything i could by changing network settings to get it to work with no luck. Epson definately needs to upgrade their comms to work better on modern mesh networks.

I was hoping for a better device when I bought this. Saving money on ink was obvious, and that's a big deal if you print a lot. It has FAX, unlike its less expensive mates, and the display is a color touch screen. The paper feeder folds away and the output paper tray is motorized so that the space it takes when it's not in use is minimized. Unfortunately, the plastic used in the paper tray is so thing that it makes the printer feel like it's an economy model. The paper feeder does not adjust to allow items narrower than letter paper to be fed straight, so they must be scanned individually on the glass. The scanner can only copy items on legal-length paper by using the automatic feeder, and that means that items are long and narrow can't be handled well. For me, that was a critical design flaw. I returned the item.

The print quality is OK but not as good as my old HP. Colors are faded. Two major issues. Installation is a real PITA. Never in my life have I had so much difficulty installing anything. I have been working with PC's since the mid 1980s. Second, printing is haphazard. Fits and starts. I've wasted more paper and ink than the law allows. This is not an efficient machine. Would not buy again.
