I have had this thing for just over a year and it's never worked right. I've called the manufacturer reset multiple times remapped and it's never went back to its docking station properly, for a few month I was able just to run it as a vacuum cleaner, but then it stopped doing that. I've had other robot, vacuum, cleaners, and had no problem with them the last one last me a few years.

Love this Roomba! I've had a vacuum/mop combo before, but it had the pad that drags, and it didn't clean my textured wood floors very well. The spinning mops get deep into the crevices and do a great job. Love the fact that it cleans itself between jobs! I got it on sale, that being said it was worth every penny!

I manage pretty busy life so it's been a lifesaver. Robot mapped my house very accurately, installation was super easy, app is also easy to manage. Connection didn't give me any issues. Suction is strong enough for everyday dust, crumbs, and even hair. Mopping also leaves floors fresh and clean. Self-maintenance of the dock is also impressive! It empties itself and storage is great. I am also very impressed that I can schedule my cleanings in the app. It seems very high-quality and durable too.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the iRobot Roomba 405 Combo robot + Auto Wash with dock compliments of Influenster. I did have some issues setting up the vacuum for the first time. It connected to the app installed on my phone ,then couldn't find it. I had to close out of the app and then reopen it and that helped. I was able to get a floor plan mapped out afterwards so it could do its job. Unfortunately I have a lip between the dining room and the kitchen entryway so it can't go any further than two rooms downstairs. It mops and dries without leaving streaks which is nice. The reservoir tank is easy to use. Despite a few hiccups, I'm happy with it because it does clean well.

The biggest standout feature is the dock that automatically empties the bin, washes and dries the mop pads. It takes so much work off of me to keep my floors clean. It does a great job of picking up everyday dirt and crumbs. Mapping feature was quick and accurate for my home. I love the easy scheduling feature which allows me to set it to clean while everyone is asleep. Overall it's a lifesaver!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this compliments of Influenster. The roomba was packaged very nice but comes with very basic and I mean basic instructions. You have to download the app to use it properly, otherwise, it would not work correctly. My experience could have been better with instructions to set it up. It was confusing to say the very least. But, alas, I got my little Roomba to do its thing! Clean! The capacity that it holds is very generous. It creates a path so it knows where it can go. It gets stuck in some cases but then learns to maneuver and knows not to go back to the same spot. Meaning, it gets stuck once and it doesn't return. It's super intuitive. I think for first timers, such as myself, it will take time to use it to the best of its ability but I wouldn't change it because it's doing a great job cleaning my floors. It even knows the difference between hard word and my portable carpets.

The charging was very easy once plugged in and the maintenance process is what helps with not wasting time. As you can see it left my floors super clean and I was able to set it where it cleaned at a certain time.

It has a home base that it automatically parks at to empty the dirty mop water when it needs to recharge. It spent about 20 minutes mapping out my entire house and I was able to easily block off a few areas with the intuitive mapping feature. It goes around and vacuums/mops everything and it's smart enough to detect carpet so it doesn't mop over your rugs or carpeted areas. It's much quieter than my old Roomba and it doesn't mop a great job moving around obstacles and edges. Overall this Roomba is going to save me so much time keeping my house clean from my kids and golden retriever!

I have so much pollen and dog hair on both my hardwood floors and carpets and this takes care of both. The mop heads are automatically washed and dried so they don't get stinky. Using the app, you map out zones and can tell it mop, vacuum or both. You can set it to clean when you aren't home. Game changer!

I couldnt have gotten this at a better time mom of 3 one being a newborn and a deployed spouse so I'm keeping up with the house alone. The mapping took a couple of tries before I was satisfied. Now that I am satisfied with the mapping we have used our robot everyday since. Its a little noisy but 1 i don't mind noise if it is working amazing and 2 is not as noisy as others I have. The robot is also pretty massive but because of its capabilities it makes sense. It can get over alot of items. This thing can literally off road. If you are satisfied with carpet lines after cleaning. THIS MACHINE WILL DO IT!!!! I love that factor. It is also very detailed and will not go over carpet if its mopping. Like I said SO SMART!! it will happily let you know if it gets stuck or sucked up an item that shouldn't be vacuumed. I do like the control from my app as well. The things I didnt like besides how hard it was to map my home was it has sooooo much trouble finding its base. I wish I understood why put itll pass it by 10 times before even trying to dock snd when it goes to dock it looks like its trying to parallel park with how often it goes in and out. Its crazy. But overall I loveeeee our little helper it has been making my life sooo much easier.
