What happened to these bars? I haven't bought them in several years. I bought a big box and was shocked at the quality of these. They are nothing but crumbs compacted into a bar. You don't even need teeth to eat these, they just fall to pieces in your mouth. They use to have whole oats in them and were great. Now they are garbage. Will not buy again. What a disappointment, Nature Valley

About 10 of the bars were coming out of their wrapper and not sealed properly in the box which makes me a leary allowing my family eat them. This is my first time purchasing in a large quantity box. Not sure if I would do it again due to the shoddy individual packaging. The actual bars are good.

I am a nurse who works 12 hour shifts and when there is no time to eat, I always have one of these handy at work. I do recommend these bars and like that there are two of them in the packaging.

Consumers can't enjoy your product if we can't open the product. It's unopenable. Fort knox! Wow I have been enjoying this product for many, many years but it's been ruined! You can go for sustainability all you want but I'm sure your sales are way down. The focus groups on new packaging surely told it like it was. Now The reduction in skus and shelf facings is noticeable. One of the keys to consumer products is to make your product easily accessible for people to enjoy. Please go back to focusing on customer enjoyment or this is a dead brand!

I have recently purchased two boxes (one large and one small) of Oats and Honey bars. The first large box tasted stale and was not crunchy at all. So, I decided to try a second box (smaller) from another retailer and that too tasted stale and did not have the usual crunch. Did the recipe change or did the packaging change allow the product to become stale? In any event, I will not be purchasing these until there has been some sort of change. A loss indeed for me since I had one every day.

My family buys a box of these once every three months. We have been doing this for years. I don't think we will anymore. The quality is not there. For every two good ones you get one stale. That is horrible! I am seriously questioning WHY I am PAYING for a SAM's account when Wal-Mart is often cheaper and has better quality.

Question, do they contain folic acid? Sometimes "whole wheat" also means enriched? My daughter loves these! But we are cutting out Folic acid from her diet due to an MTFHR mutation which makes it hard for her to process folic acid, resulting in behavior delays.

Obviously the person who changed NV's Oats & Honey recipe wasn't around in the 80's when Coke decided to change their recipe. This new formula sucks. If the marketing team wants to research "New Coke" they will see how much of a stupid idea it is to screw around with a classic. I guess I will need to find a new brand after 20+ years...
