The hardware itself is fantastic. The S2 is a huge improvement over the S1. The overall feel is better, the CPU and GPU are better, as is the larger screen. My only concern is that the cost of entry is high - the console itself is expensive, as are the peripherals and games. And the cost of all of these items will likely increase as time goes on due to market conditions. The game library for the S2 is also thin at the moment. I bought the system now to get ahead of any potential price increases, even though there are currently very few first party games I’m interested in playing. I’m looking forward to the eventual Zelda and Mario releases though.

I haven't been able to try all the new features and I didn't have the camera. That said I am 100% satisfied with the upgrade from an OLED. improvement to video is really nice. the magnetic connection on the controls all wonderful. bigger screen. Loving my purchase

I really was not going to get a switch 2 this soon. My switch is just fine. Pokopia got me and the fact that more Pokémon games are releasing for only the switch 2. The screen is quite a bit larger, the audio has improved a lot. It’s a really luxe feel. That being said, 449$. Nintendo knows what they are doing….pokemon fans like myself are eventually going to spend the stupid price tag for the system to get access to new games. I feel like fool, but I’m also living my best life on Pokopia so ehhhh I would do it again!

No issues with the product or with the delivery service. The Switch 2 has a nice feel and the controllers snap in place in a very satisfying fashion. I especially like the extended and sturdy built-in stand; it allows for more even weight distribution, making holding the console a much more comfortable experience. I can also use it to lean most of the weight of the console on a cushion on my lap to reduce strain on my wrists. Transferring my account info from my previous console was also very straightforward.

I’m so in love! The 4K, HDR, and frame rates are insane. I’ve been greatly enjoying Pokopia, using Gamechat, and my huge library of switch 1 games! The graphical improvements are definitely noticeable. I’m so glad that I finally upgraded from my switch 1 and before the price hike.

Absolutely love it! I already have a switch oled but I got this one because I have adult money and I can. Anyways, it loads so much faster than my oled switch. I have adhd and when I’d try to play on my oled I would lose interest cause of the loading times and waiting for it to charge up. This charges pretty fast, the battery lasts and loads up pretty fast. Definitely recommend. Plus playing Zelda BOTW on here is beautiful.

I was reluctant to believe that the improvements made, to the Switch 2, would justify upgrading from the original Switch. But now that I have it in hand I can say I'm glad I made the... 😏 switch. The upgrades to screen size, graphics, and overall performance give this console the quality of life improvements that you want from next gen. Playing Mario Kart World I feel I've gotten a great demo for all of the new bells and whistles; can say I recommend.

Switch 2 handles most of my gameplays for my regular Switch games and Switch 2 games, the only thing I would argue that this system doesn't have is good battery, when i charge it up and take it off the charger, i only get 1 hour gameplay before i have to charge it up again, I'm thinking about messaging Nintendo to create better and stronger batteries for the upcoming Switches or make a new battery for the Switch 2 and put out a recall on them to switch the batteries to the new upgraded ones once they create it.

it's great as a system but not for gaming in the sense that a lot of games aren't even on cartridges or require internet, which defets the purpose of handheld by a mile, obviously but there are some games that are on the cartridges pretty much all nintendo made games and cyberpunk but yeah don't look at it as a next gen system look at it as a really beefed up nintendo switch that plays switch 1 games a lot better than the switch 1 does and it plays some games that the switch 1 doesn't and if you only play games like apex or fortnite good news they work a lot better on the switch 2 lol but yeah the system itself i think is great but the fact there's so many games that don't have games on the cartridge requires internet the list of crap it's ridiculous handheld mode is almost pointless,if they don't start bringing out games that are on the cartridge than nintendo is going under just like microsoft with xbox they still have time to fix the problem but i will never purchas a game thats not on the cartridge or requires internet and idc what the price of it is i will not purchase it not gonna happen period!

I bought this for my girlfriend. She already had the original Switch, but this was an upgrade that was worth it. The screen is larger, the joycons are larger, the graphics are better, and the battery life is better. If you're thinking about it, just get it! You won't regret it.
