Best present ever!

Best Christmas gift ever! My kids love it! My 13-year old and 18-year old were so excited and full of joy when they saw it. Surprisingly, my wife and I love it too. NS2 it’s not just for kids it’s for the whole family. We are planning to buy two more controls so we 4 can play.

I love it!

Absolutely love it! I already have a switch oled but I got this one because I have adult money and I can. Anyways, it loads so much faster than my oled switch. I have adhd and when I’d try to play on my oled I would lose interest cause of the loading times and waiting for it to charge up. This charges pretty fast, the battery lasts and loads up pretty fast. Definitely recommend. Plus playing Zelda BOTW on here is beautiful.

Bigger screen, better graphics, def worth it!

I bought this for my girlfriend. She already had the original Switch, but this was an upgrade that was worth it. The screen is larger, the joycons are larger, the graphics are better, and the battery life is better. If you're thinking about it, just get it! You won't regret it.

it's great as a system but not for gaming in the sense that a lot of games aren't even on cartridges or require internet, which defets the purpose of handheld by a mile, obviously but there are some games that are on the cartridges pretty much all nintendo made games and cyberpunk but yeah don't look at it as a next gen system look at it as a really beefed up nintendo switch that plays switch 1 games a lot better than the switch 1 does and it plays some games that the switch 1 doesn't and if you only play games like apex or fortnite good news they work a lot better on the switch 2 lol but yeah the system itself i think is great but the fact there's so many games that don't have games on the cartridge requires internet the list of crap it's ridiculous handheld mode is almost pointless,if they don't start bringing out games that are on the cartridge than nintendo is going under just like microsoft with xbox they still have time to fix the problem but i will never purchas a game thats not on the cartridge or requires internet and idc what the price of it is i will not purchase it not gonna happen period!

Nice upgrade, a little pricey though

Wish they weren’t so expensive. My son is happy though soooo… it was worth it to buy. Just trying to figure out where to find the extended warranty papers purchased with it. Also, several of the features are major updates from switch 1. The joy cons popping off are great! The fact that it needs a special memory card because it won’t accept the old on, stinks.

This was a big purchase for me. It's quite expensive, and I hope to use it for at least as many years as I did its predecessor. So far, it's absolutely wonderful. Very easy and intuitive to set up, and superior in every way (visual, tactile, etc) to the old model.

Powerful little gaming machine with caveats

Feels nice in the hands, decently more powerful than the original Switch lineup; unfortunately the main caveats are: -The Joycon 2 still use industry standard carbon resistive thumbsticks, so they will potentially suffer from the exact same stick drift issues (some people supposedly already have stick drift problems). -The Switch 2's built-in screen looks good, even for an LCD panel, when viewing still images; but to cram an 8-inch 120hz panel into that somewhat slim 450$ price point, the screen has poor pixel response times (leading to ghosting in most and noticeable latency in some games). Overall a good system for the price rivaling the PS4 or Xbone/XBSS in terms of power and visuals.

Overall amazing, but a little overpriced.

I will say it shouldn't be as much as it is, as it doesn't compare to consoles similarly priced power-wise. Overall great for portability, and first-party games are usually pretty fun. I would recommend getting a game with it though, as there aren't many good free games on there.

A waste of a lot of money

Not worth the purchase, don’t switch from OG Nintendo switch to the 2. It barely connects to my tv on the dock without having to unplug everything from the dock and plug it back in — directions from Nintendo support A let down for my son and my whole family Started failing within a month of purchase Not comparable to the original switch that lasted us for years. Don’t waste the money.

Nintendo scores big w/their latest home console.

The latest handheld gaming system/home console from Nintendo is a bit larger than the original Switch and the Switch OLED. There's no OLED screen rhis time around but, since I will be using it mostly on a 4K TV, it's not a deal breaker. The Joy Con controllers are a bit on the small side for larger/adult hands and take a bit of getting used to if you're used to playing with PS or XBox controllers so, I've ordered the Nintendo Switch 2 Pronronaddress this issue. There are plenty of great new games like Donkey Kong Bananaza and Cyberpunk 2077 with some great titles coming soon. The Nintendo Online subscription gives you plenty of older games from across the various Nintendo platforms to reacquaint yourself with or try for the first time. Backwards compatibility with the original Switch adds even more games to the library. It's pretty easy to set up with an HDMI cable for a big screen experience. You have to remove both controllers to select the one I want to use which is a bit odd. Haven't spent much time with it yet but, will be settling in for some serious gaming once the holidays are over. I recommend this to anyone looking for a new gaming console there's lots of new, family friendly and fun, classic games to choose from to make this a worthwhile purchase for anyone. I can't see anyone disappointed with getting their hands on the Nintendo Switch 2.
