The third one of these that they release will be superb, I’m sure. This is the one that’s worth the bang for your buck if you’re looking to acquire a switch, now, though. I’m here for the Pokemon, and this plays Pokemon pretty well before stepping into the world of modding.

I have had the original Switch for over six years and decided it was time for an upgrade. The Switch 2 is a seriously good gaming console. Of course it's going to have all the Nintendo titles, but it's also seeing a lot of third party support. Games load quickly, and look fantastic in handheld mode and on the TV. Profiles, and games, transfer easily between consoles. Many Switch games have upgrade packs available that optimize them for play on the Switch 2.

Worth the money.

Picked up my Switch 2 before the price increase in September and absolutely love it so far! Wanted to wait a year before purchasing to see the general consensus, and decided it was time! I haven’t played with it enough to give a full review, but I can say that the joycons are a far improvement from the OG switch.
