The LG OLEDC5 is an amazing TV. The quality of the sound and picture is top of the line. The ease of functions is amazing. Thin design, easy to set up and it easy to program with firestick, headphonea, computer and what ever else to.make it you own. Great price, easy pick up. Loved it so.much we bought 2!

Great picture and sound, enough ports to connect all of your external devices (HDMI and USB) as well as ethernet and or wi-fi. I love the smart remote. It mounts on the wall with standard mount. It's super light weight as well. Good value for the money, would definitely buy again.

I use it with the Apple TV and the remote is really good and works automatically with my Apple TV. The menus are so good that I am considering start using them directly. Image quality is amazing, this is my first oled and I am really impressed. Specially at night is amazing. I was concern that during the day was not bright enough, but its really good, even in my house where I have floor to ceiling windows next to it. We play PS5 and the quality blowed us away here too.

Tried a mini led and it was not near as good as my 16 year old Sony. I tried for two weeks to adjust settings. I took it back and bought this at Caude's suggestion. It is a little better than my SONY very very happy with it.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Great TV. Shocking remote control. The pointer thing is useless. Lack of pause, record buttons and interactions with other devices. Can't fault the picture. Sound volume unreliable and is fine one second and almost silent when adverts come on. Hopefully a firmware update will address but I'm looking at third party remotes.

Superb image and motion for 4k hdr content. Awful motion control for non-hdr content - judder cannot be eliminated regardless of Trumotion settings. For example, watching Batman Begins looked fantastic, but watching Gotham was infuriating. The former C8 oled was much, much better for this. Support for 120/144 fps is good, once you figure out the tv. Auto-switching picture modes (depending on the content detected) can be incredibly frustrating, because the tv can refuse to let you modify settings without explaining why. Sorry to say, but going from the older C8 (best tv I ever had) to the C5 would make me question buying another LG.

Underwhelmed considering the price. There are many things that I just don’t like about this unit. One of the most annoying aspects is so many of the controls are now AI. The menus no longer have user adjustable settings. They have pre-programmed categories that they think that you will like. The sound choices and results are the worst. They have numerous choices, none of which are great. One example is their sports mode. We were watching a football game so I set it on Sports. The sound was ok as long as it was the announcers in the booth talking. When they cut to their on the field reporter or player that was mic’d up, the volume of them talking was so low it was hard to hear what they were saying. When they cut back to the booth, all of a sudden you could hear them perfectly. Understand I did not raise or lower the volume on the TV. The setting for volume was the same for the booth announcers and the sideline reporters. Btw, the same problem happened when they cut to the live feed from the coaches boxes. I tried every setting option they offered and none of them resolved the problem. I wonder how a big name brand TV could miss that badly. Now on to the picture. This set is supposed to be very bright. There is no brightness adjustment. It’s pre-programmed into the AI too. Once again, their opinion of what is correct, with no option for the end user to adjust it to their tastes. The old color and tint adjustments are gone too. While watching one of my favorite sit-coms, the TV made it look like every actor, M or F, were wearing lipstick. Their lips were overly red. There are also some times where the skin tones look like bad spray tans. Normally this is a tint adjustment but since that no longer exists, I’m stuck with it. The one thing I wonder is we were upgrading from another high quality set, but it was older. I was totally expecting to be blown away with everything about this TV but such was not the case. So I just wonder if my expectations were too high. Maybe if you were coming from a Black Friday sale TV to this it might look good. IDK. It is no better than the TV we replaced. For close to $1500 and moving up 10 years in technology, I was definitely expecting to be blown away. The last area of disappointment is the remote control. Right off the bat, there is no number pad so you cannot just enter the channel number you want to watch and hit enter to get to it. So if you want to watch a different channel from an on screen guide, your only option is to scroll to it, past every channel in between where you were and where you want to be. The next problem is it has a pointer (cursor) that shows up on the screen when you push in on the scroll wheel in the remote. Using the pointer is frustrating because it is so sensitive. You put the cursor where you want it and go to “click” by pushing in on the scroll wheel and the cursor moves off from where you wanted to click. Spelling words with the pointer is the worst. Lots of errors, corrections and re-trying. It makes everything associated with that process take a lot longer than it should. Another problem with the pointer/remote. One would normally expect the cursor to be a fixed extension of the remote. You expect the beam to come straight out the front of the remote. It does, UNTIL, you point it at something towards the side of the screen. If you point past the width, or vertical, the cursor stays at the point where you exited the screen, until you bring the remote back to a position where it’s pointing on the screen again. The problem is it’s moved the orientation of where the pointer is coming out of the remote now. So if you went off the right side of the screen, the cursor will now be to the left of center, significantly. Like you are pointing off the screen but still moving the cursor. Imagine that you have a physical pointer, like a stick coming out of the front of the remote. You go off the screen to the right and now that stick is pointing off to the left. So the remote is pointing straight ahead but your stick is pointing off to the left. It still moves the cursor, you are now just pointing at the walls instead of the screen. It would be easier if the pointer was fixed and always came straight out the front of the remote. I cannot recommend this TV. I will be returning it before my 90 days are up.
