The company replaced my original can because when you stepped on the bar at the bottom, the cover wouldn’t open all the way. Their product has a 5 year warranty and they honored it for me by shipping me a new can without any hassles. Now on my new can, when the cover closes it makes a grinding noise and I have to contact the company again! Love the can, just want it to work without any issues.

I recently had the unpleasantness of a trash can i purchased which broke.. My unpleasantness was resolved with the expertise of the representative i spoke with as well as the warranty on the trash can that simplehuman stood behind 100%.. I absolutely love this company and the product.. 5 stars

This is a great trash can and looks super clean. I have even received compliments on it! The one downside is that there is not a two-compartment option in this size. I have a tiny kitchen and would love to have a smaller trash can that also has a section for recyclables.

This is my second one I’ve bought. I gave away my last one when I moved to a nice neighbor who needed one for their daughter moving out on her own, first apartment. So I already knew I had to get another one because I loved it so much. Easy to use, soft closing lid and aesthetically pleasing. I got a different color (gray) to match my new decor. Love it!

Bought this bin for my son's house to match the other one he had been using for trash. I know that he has been satisfied with the one that he had, so I bought another one for recycling since he was just using paper bags and it quickly would fill up and accumulate on his countertop. Providing this matching bin has made it easier and cleaner to simply pop in all the recycling next to his matching trash bin. It is large capacity and easy to change out the bags.

I'm very pleased with this trashcan. We used to have a stainless steel automatic opening can by a different brand that I bought this to replace. The automatic opening feature stopped working after a while and I was tired of always trying to keep the stainless looking polished. I don't miss the look of stainless at all as this is a nice sleek grey and has a stainless rim to give a bit of style. To me, this is a better value than an all-stainless can and looks just as good. I love the pedal operation which is smooth and slow closing to give you plenty of time to put stuff in. The bag stash in the back is so convenient and while I was skeptical of using the Simple Human trash bags I am finding that I like them much better than standard bags.

I am in LOVE with my trash can! It is stylish (for a trash can) , very well made , and does not detract from my kitchen decor. I love the flashy rose gold trim and the ease of changing the trash can liners. It is a perfect size for my home and keeps me from having to endlessly keep emptying the trash because it holds more than any of my previous trash cans.

I had the 45l can for about before I realized it had a part missing. After contacting Simplehuman they got right back with me and determined it was best to send me a new one. That is what I call customer service. I will always be a loyal customer. Great product and service a winning combo.

We've had different kinds of kitchen garbage cans over the years and this is by far the best. It is easy to change the bag and easy to remove a full bag. It doesn't tip over. It blocks odors from escaping. The lid is super quiet. It's easier to clean than the kind that are all metal. The size is just right. Love it!

Everything about this can is wonderful. The only problem I had was the foot pedal and bar behind are metal which is great, but supported by plastic rings. This over 2 years caused the plastic to break. Then lid would no longer go up or down. However the warranty is so solid they shipped me a brand new can at no cost to me. Wish every company was this way. Good job simplehuman!!!
