I had the 45l can for about before I realized it had a part missing. After contacting Simplehuman they got right back with me and determined it was best to send me a new one. That is what I call customer service. I will always be a loyal customer. Great product and service a winning combo.

Who would have thought that a trash can could not only be so easy to use as well as look good? The step mechanism opens and closes the can automatically. There is a pocket that holds the supply of liners that are the perfect size for the can and hold more trash than those bags you buy in the supermarket. The only drawback is the price. But once you start using the can and liners, it is well worth it.

We wanted a sleek can that blended well with our kitchen. We love this model because it isn’t stainless steel. No excessive finger prints and the product performs beyond expectation. The superior customer service from the folks at simplehuman is a breath of fresh air too. Great product. Great service! Happy customer.

Our daughter has two and I saw they have lasted at their busy home, so after updating our kitchen I had to have one. If your hands are full, the step can is awesome and works every time, and the slow closing lid is the best. The lid also keeping the smells out of the kitchen is a plus!! The outside is easy to clean, we chose the black plastic version. I would recommend this to everyone. Great purchase for a great product!!

This is our second set of Simplehuman trash cans. We are replacing a set that we bought about 7 years ago that have taken a beating and held up really well. Just time for an upgrade. These new cans are really well made and should serve us for at least another 7 years.

Have purchased several of these cans in the past over many years. All of them eventually break the plastic pedal, in the back, where it connects to the lid lift rod. I would think that after several years of these failing, the company would improve the design of the pedals as to not break. When the pedal is not broken, it's a nice step can, so 4 stars.

Can OK, problem is if you put it up against anything the area just below the lid hinge is going to rub and mark up whatever it is placed against. I fixed this by adhering felt bumbers to the area. Now I'm trying to figure how how to make it stop sliding when you step on it. Currently it sits at an angle, because the bottom works slips to whatever it is placed against.

I contacted the company. They were very professional. I had an issue with my garbage can. They were very polite. They definitely warranty their products, I should say stand behind their products. I have been buying this product for over 10 years. I would recommend simplehuman to anyone purchasing quality products. I love a company that stands behind their products. They were great. We bought the white for our recyclables. We purchased the badges that go with it which are great! The garbage does a great job of keeping in the stink bc i opened the garbage to a horrible smell (I think one of the bean cans was not rinsed well) and yet the moment I put down the lid the smell was gone! In addition, it looks so chic in our white kitchen and I bc read the plastic is restore to clean and I agree it is easy to wipe down.

Bought this for my lovely daughter. Really appreciate the wide foot pedal and the sturdy material. Sits at a landing leading to the basement. Wanted something that would be beautiful but not too cumbersome also great that my 2 and 3yr old grand babies can easy access but won’t be in the way!
