This thing has moved homes with us, and it has held up extremely well. When I first bought it, I didn’t plan on getting the liners, because I didn’t realize there was a built in pocket for them, but I absolutely love how simple it all is - I don’t have to rifle through my cabinets to get a bag. Anyway, I like it so much that I bought another one for recycling, and you can bet I bought the recycling liners, too.

I have had one of these cans for two years before the top lid and hinge broke from reg use, making the lid-open step dysfunctional. I still bought a another one because the shape is perfect. Tip: one doesn't have to get special K bags, just get regular stretchy ones from the grocery store and they'll work.

Our daughter has two and I saw they have lasted at their busy home, so after updating our kitchen I had to have one. If your hands are full, the step can is awesome and works every time, and the slow closing lid is the best. The lid also keeping the smells out of the kitchen is a plus!! The outside is easy to clean, we chose the black plastic version. I would recommend this to everyone. Great purchase for a great product!!
