I'm really happy with the 45L simplehuman garbage can. The design is sleek, modern, and looks beautiful in my space. It also feels sturdy, and I hope it holds up well for many years. One feature I really liked is the built-in storage compartment for replacement bags — such a cool and practical idea. The bags themselves are strong and resistant. They are a little pricey, but I think it really depends on your style preferences and budget. Overall, it's a great product, easy to clean, and gives a very polished look to the kitchen.

We originally bought this as a recycling bin, but the locking top makes it great for trash and the lack of an inner bin makes it less good for bringing out recycling if you don't use a lining bag. We actually already had the metal 45ml bin that has a plastic bin inside, so by switching them, we got a great set!

This is our second purchase of this trash can. Our first purchase lasted over 10 years. It is perfect for kitchen use - reliable and easy to keep clean. The dual opening characteristics of the trash can - step and manual make usage very easy. So glad SimpleHuman is still manufacturing it.

I am very happy with my new step can, as it is attractive and durable. The custom liners fit in a pocket in the back of the can, so they are easily accessible when needed. I am sure this can will last a long time! It is also reasonably priced, and was delivered promptly.

I love the pink color and the easy use of this step can. The size and attractiveness makes this can a winner. I replaced an older simplehiman can because the color adds to our kitchen colors. The garbage can matches my kitchen very nicely with the gold/brass accent. The can isn’t as sturdy as I thought it would be. I’m used to my simple human stainless can which is heavy. This one might be better bc it prob won’t get all dented up like my stainless did.
