I'm really happy with my Samsung TV. The picture quality is beautiful—sharp, bright, and clear—and the colors look amazing. Overall the TV is great. Picture is sharp and clear, lots of brightness and even the sound is excellent. The TV is instantaneously responsive to the remote. I use a flat antenna and with one or two exceptions the picture is wonderful. The only nit I have is still after 6 months trying to figure out how to turn the TV on the the last station I watched. I also am still a bit confused by the Samsung TV Plus. That said it's a great TV. Simple to set up.

The brightness is adjustable so if you can match the vibes of spooky or if a games brightness settings is super low. The contrast options also clears up the picture for older games with terrible rendering.

As I stated, everything is good, except the sound. The speaker is terrible. We had a service man come out to show us what to do to get all the features operating since we have never had a TV that does so many things, and for every question we asked him, he had to CALL SOMEONE on his mobil phone to get the answer. Next time, I guess we will have to get help from our neighbors who own Smart TVs.

There are no instructions on how to use this tv. I would not buy a Samsung again. Ridiculous not to have instructions on how to move around, get new apps, etc etc. Picture is great, but what good is it when you cannot find what you want. AND THIS IS THE THIRD OR FOURTH TIME I HAVE RESPONDED TO THIS RATING AND NO ONE HAS CONTACTED ME BACK.

Set has great contrast and color. Refresh rate when watching action or playing video games is amazing for the price paid. Transition from different sites is very quick and smooth. The quality of lower quality broadcasts has wonderful upscaling. And finally the brightness given by this model holds its own verses higher end models.

For the price it is a fair TV. The responsiveness is noy very good. Very laggy upon start up. Uniformity of the user software is terrible at best. So hard to find apps and hars to download them. Not user friendly. Brightness and contrast are great. The picture is solid. And gaming on it is fine. Upscaling? Id get a bigger tv but not a Samsung this next time.

I' have had a non samsung tv for years until one day it just died, I knew my only option was a. Samsung i chose a 55 inch model for my modest NYC studio and I was amazed at how far technology had come. This TV was like stepping into the future . The vivid picture was amazing I couldn't look away ,the various choices during setup were very satisfying to the tech geek in me. The brightness is just right I can watch TV late without my eyes strained or washed out the next day. I knew I picked a winner. The fa.ily feeling of having a samsung account that New of my purchase. The responsiveness of the samsung people to my inquiries and questions made me feel like family. My brother has two my mother 1 myself 1 my nephew streams and games with his and its amazing what this TV does, I tell everyone to check mine out and then decide if samsung is for you. I'm sure you will decide it is!

VERY, VERY DISAPPOINTED!!!!!! I should have learned my lesson, after my first 55" Samsung TV, after just a year and a half of having it, all of a sudden, while watching it it went blank and completely stopped working. I went ahead and bought a 50" one and NOW this one I'm also having problems with. When I turn it off, it comes back on after 1 1/2 minutes! I'm a senior and I just can't afford to buy another TV!
