Great product for the price

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely great product for the price - I use it for my work and gaming monitor, at 4k the sharpness and response is the best. More real estate means more information and data on the screen for work, and a HUGE play screen for PC games. All the other features just add on to the value.

New TV

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The picture on this TV is exquisite! I am amazed every time I sit down and watch a HD TV show. The picture is the most "life like" I have ever seen. I have a couple of other SAMSUNG TVs but they are older models and don't have near the picture quality of the UHD U8000FD and the menu for navigating to different sources is very user friendly.

Hi Happy, We appreciate you sharing the issues you’re experiencing when connecting your U8000F TV to your cable box. To ensure everything is set up correctly, we recommend using the Connection Guide, which provides step-by-step instructions for connecting external devices. Navigate to: Home > left directional key > Connected Devices > Connection Guide Also, please double-check that your cable box is powered on and that the HDMI cable is securely connected. To change input sources, go to: Connected Devices > Sources You can also run HDMI Troubleshooting, which checks the connection between your TV, HDMI cable, and external device. This takes approximately 2 minutes and can be found under: Connected Devices > Connection Guide > Video Device > HDMI Troubleshooting Finally, please ensure that the broadcast signal or network your cable box is connected to is functioning properly. If you continue to experience issues, don’t hesitate to reach out to Samsung Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun), or reach us via text anytime. No port for surround sound

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love my Samsung crystal TV. I wish it had an additional port in the back so I could hook up my Samsung surround sound to it. Have not bought a new Smart crystal TV with no port to hook up their own devices to each other (the port that looks like the old home phones)

Hi stoelman, Thank you for your review. You can use the TV's remote control to control external devices that are connected to the TV by an HDMI cable and that support Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC). If you’d like your externally connected devices to turn on/off when you turn your TV on/off, please make sure Anynet+ is enabled. To turn on Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC), go to: Settings > All Settings > Connection > External Device Manager > Anynet+ (HDMI-CEC) = ON. Finally, please know that there is an on/off button on your TV below the Samsung logo at the bottom of your TV. If you need additional support, Samsung is here to help. Please call us at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6 PM Sat – Sun), or reach us via text 24/7. Family Friendly TV.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This TV is one of the best that I have purchased to date. I get a beautiful clear picture and I feel like I am a part of the show. CLEAR AND CRISP IMAIGE WITH EXCEPTIONAL SOUND QUXALITY. THEN I HAVE SO MANY CHANELS TO WATCH. I love that I can add more channels, expanding my selection of entertainment. Very Easy to Use. Thank you Samsung for your hard work putting this unit together. VERY WELL DONE.

My experience, just so-so

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] A really nice picture and easy setup. But, the volume of commercials increases to an unbearable degree on some channels and there seems to be an over abundance of incidents of program buffering or freezing

Hi, Thank you for sharing your experience with volume fluctuations on your Samsung U8000FD TV. Sudden changes in volume can often be related to audio settings or content differences between sources or apps. Please try the following adjustments to help stabilize your TV's audio: 1. Enable Auto Volume. Go to: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Expert Settings > Auto Volume. This feature helps maintain a consistent volume level when switching channels or apps. 2. Change 3. . Try a different sound mode to see if one offers a more stable output: Settings > All Settings > Sound > Sound Mode (We recommend Standard or Amplify for more even performance.) 4. Check External Devices. If you're using a soundbar, receiver, or other audio device, check that its volume leveling or dynamic range settings aren’t interfering with the TV’s audio. 5. Update Firmware. Ensure your TV is running the latest software, as updates may include audio improvements: Settings > Support > Software Update > Update Now If the issue persists after these steps, please don’t hesitate to reach Samsung Customer Support at 1-800-SAMSUNG (8AM – 9PM EST Mon – Fri, 8AM – 6PM Sat – Sun). LiveChat is also available via the ‘Support’ link on our website. ~ Samsung Advisor

Great Features

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am enjoying my TV. I'm taking advantage of Samsung TV Plus which is part of the TV. I get several of my Favorite Channels on this service. I attached an indoor antenna and I am able to get 50 or more local channels that look great on the TV.

Samsung 75 inch Crystal UHD 4K

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this television after our 7 year old Samsung 75 inch tv started having issues. Overall, the tv has been good with picture, sound and brightness. The navigation between Samsung tv, our cable provider and the various apps is a bit difficult as I can never remember how to easily access the apps. The old brand was a lot more user-friendly. The connection to other Samsung products (washer, dryer and phone) is great and useful.
