The Hearty Grains & Seeds variety is the perfect bread inside & out. The crust is good but not too strong. As toast, it shines and as a sandwich it holds up adding structure and flavor. The one usually on the shelf is Italian Sour Dough and is a bit too heavy on the gluten and a bit chewy but toasts nicely. Anxiously awaiting the Hearty Seeds & Grains variety coming back!

This bread is as close as I can get to true San Francisco sourdough. I’m a huge snob about sourdough cause I love that tang that comes with it but I always have a hard time finding it on the east coast. I’ve tried so many sourdough loafs and wasted tons of money with those that promised a tang that rivals the San Francisco bread and this brand is as close as I can get. I absolutely love the taste of it. There is a slight tang but not overpowering the way San Francisco bread is which makes for a happy medium. I finished my first loaf in just 3 days and had to go right away and get another loaf. You will love this bread!

This is the best Sourdough bread ever. It isn’t as dry as other brands still moist inside and crusty a little bit around the edges of the bread. Only drawback is that it is so delicious we can’t seem to keep it at our house. Best ham sandwiches and most perfect pb sandwiches. 🥪 or 🥜

I recommend this if you purchase it yourself in the store. The flavor is better than most of the other sourdough offered. I have had it delivered several times, but it is a hit or miss with whether it will be molding or not when delivered. At least if I purchase in the store, I can check the dates and look at the loaf.

what began as my favorite bread has been found out by the family now they love it too it makes great French toast makes really good cinnamon bread and one really good thing about it is it doesn't crumble like regular white bread that helps with the clean up a lot

Commercial sourdough is always tricky. Some brands don't have a strong flavour, but this one suited my tastes. A little light but it made many lovely toasted sandwiches for me. It's a round loaf, so I had to cut the larger slices in half to fit my toaster. The ends are a bit thick but I do love the hind of most bread loaves.

Pleased with this loaf. because the baker is not using citric acids, lactic acids, or amylase enzymes that include soy derivatives. So far we have successfully eaten this with a whey/soy allergy. Check ingredient label because the same baker makes other types of bread with additional additives.

This bread tasted like someone took it out of the package and spread it out and left It sit out for at least two days , then put it back in the package, closed it up and brought it out and then sold it. So stale. Aweful. And this used to be my favorite.

It’s hard to describe what sourdough bread tases like, but it’s one of my favorites. Plus each selection of sourdough brand has a unique taste all their own. The Rustik Sourdough brand is my 2nd favorite. I’ll admit my favorite brand/bread is the stone mill sourdough bread selections. This bread is hard to beat, but I do wish it was shaped to more easily

The best gluten-friendly sourdough on the market. I suffer from migraines triggered by gluten. Sourdough bread is a great alternative. Some sourdough breads can be dense or some are too firm. Rustik....is soft, tasty, and really good. Perfect for sandwiches and grilled cheese. It is a bitty pricy but the quantity is perfect. if you think about how much you waste with the full round loaf - you won't waste a slice. Plus the large slices can be cut in half to make a sandwich. ***HIGHLY RECOMMEND***
