So lately I've noticed the loaf is smaller although the package claims it's 1lb or 454g. So why not put it to the test? Turns out it was 435g/15.5oz. 20g difference... That's either a slice or two. I don't call that inflation, I call that dishonest. Gave it 5 stars because I couldn't submit it otherwise.

This Rustik sourdough bread is sold in half loaves, but you are actually getting a whole loaf because the slices are very large. The texture is a little heavier than typical sourdough. It is not overpowering. For people who may not like sourdough bread, this might make them fall in love with its perfectly balanced flavor. It's wonderful for grilled cheese sandwiches or toast, or side with your Italian dinner, or any sandwich. I find that the slices are so big that I can use one slice of bread for a full size sandwich. We keep it as a staple. Moist, flavorful, wonderful texture, perfect! I don't think anyone would be disappointed unless you really, really, really have to have the very sour sourdough bread. Try it! You just might fall in love!

We really love sourdough in our house. The only issue usually is that we don't always get to finish it in time. Sourdough in particular doesn't usually last very long. That is why I love this one in particular. For us it lasts the right amount of time and we usually always finish it before it goes bad. It does not come with a lot of slices, but the slices are very big. You can either eat them as is or even cut them in half. I love the way this sourdough bread in particular toasts and the fact that it is not super sweet with additives. I love to use it for my morning avocado toast, or our tuna melts. So for me since we always actually finish this one and the fact that it's good quality and tastes good, it's a good value.

This is my favorite sourdough half loaf! Stays fresh longer (I've tried other brands that tend to go off before the end of the week). These slices are thicker than other sourdoughs so keep in mind if your using for something in particular - Grilled cheese tends to be TOO thick. Although still delicious!

I recently purchased a loaf of Rustik Sourdough from Walmart. I have tasted many brands of sourdough bread. This brand is by far the best tasting sourdough bread I have ever pruchased. The bread slices are moist and fresh since the day I bought the loaf. One slice is enough to make a good size sandwich. Goodby white and wheat bread. The Rustik brand is the one to buy.

We tried this Ruslik Sourdough Bread for the first time. We just toasted it and buttered the sourdough bread and it has really proved to be a great bread for toasting. Of course you can add whatever you want on top of it. Just a good butter is enough!

Not a bunch of junk in this bread and you tell by the taste. So much better than any other bread, sourdough or not, that I've personally had, well, with the exception of homemade bread. I had gotten to where I didn't even but bread because it was all so bad.

I was looking for a replacement for my favorite bread - Seattle Sourdough. This is a very close second. Flavor and freshness were great, just a bit damaged but that could be due to issues in the supply chain and not necessarily a reflection of the manufacturer.

Bread tasted great, but I have to say that shrink flation has hit this particular sourdough bread. Not very many slices in the bag. Disappointed! Shrink-flation!!! ☹️ I prefer Costco's organic sourdough bread. Two loaves of sourdough bread for a great price and it's delicious!

The last two orders, the bread was hard and too toasted. It is usually fluffy, soft, not too toasted, and delicious. What happened? Please do not ruin a good thing and change the recipe or process. It would also be great if you seal the packages and make them tamper-proof. I have not re-ordered for this reason. But I used to buy it weekly. I hope this gets corrected so I can continue to enjoy one of my favorite breads. Otherwise, it is 5 Stars.
