Pleased with this loaf. because the baker is not using citric acids, lactic acids, or amylase enzymes that include soy derivatives. So far we have successfully eaten this with a whey/soy allergy. Check ingredient label because the same baker makes other types of bread with additional additives.

what began as my favorite bread has been found out by the family now they love it too it makes great French toast makes really good cinnamon bread and one really good thing about it is it doesn't crumble like regular white bread that helps with the clean up a lot

I recommend this if you purchase it yourself in the store. The flavor is better than most of the other sourdough offered. I have had it delivered several times, but it is a hit or miss with whether it will be molding or not when delivered. At least if I purchase in the store, I can check the dates and look at the loaf.

This is an excellent country style bread, a reminder of old-fashioned styles, when you had to go to the bakery to find one. . It is excellent for breakfast and for lunch sandwiches. I prefer it with salty things (cheese, ham, etc) than with sugary things (hazelnut spread, honey), but it is a matter of taste.

In my opinion this bread is slightly overpriced , however, it is certainly delicious. The number of slices is 5 or 6 but 3 or 4 are huge. The sourdough flavor is fantastic. I enjoy it toasted but it doesn’t get brown probably because of its low sugar. Which is fine with me.

The best gluten-friendly sourdough on the market. I suffer from migraines triggered by gluten. Sourdough bread is a great alternative. Some sourdough breads can be dense or some are too firm. Rustik....is soft, tasty, and really good. Perfect for sandwiches and grilled cheese. It is a bitty pricy but the quantity is perfect. if you think about how much you waste with the full round loaf - you won't waste a slice. Plus the large slices can be cut in half to make a sandwich. ***HIGHLY RECOMMEND***

The bread claims to be sourdough however one of the ingredients is vinegar true sourdough bread has three ingredients flour, water, and salt. any bread that includes vinegar or an agent such as yeast is not a true sourdough bread regardless of how close it tastes. for this being a fake it does taste good and have a good texture but it's not a true sourdough therefore you do not get the benefits of sourdough.

I am one who prefers sourdough fot health reasons. This dough looks fabulous... texture is excellent, taste is good but not great for me. It is far too salty. After taste testing a slice, %26 rinsing out my mouth, I can still taste the salt. So, yes my salt intake is a LOT lower than most people use, AND I never use table salt, or kosher salt either. I only buy Pink Himilayan salt for the milder taste, and the minerals already in this type of salt. I do LOVE the texture of this bread as well as its vlassic soudough taste; just not the salt.

If I were paying in Lebanese Pounds (89,600 LBP = 1 USD), that would be one thing. But to pay nearly $6 for a middle-of-the-road, third-loaf of sourdough bread with zero sourdough flavor, Nah. For context, my father made rustic bread during my upbringing. His sister made bread, I have made and make sourdough bread. The woman that taught me is a master at making sourdough bread. This rustic sourdough bread in name only. It has a pleasant, rustic texture. It has no offensive aroma or flavor since it has almost no aroma or flavor. Basically, I paid top price at a large scale, non-specialty supermarket for less than half the bread I should have received for that money. And it was just barely passable.

I’ve been buying this bread regularly for years; it was consistently high quality - soft and fresh and tasted great. But in the last couple of months (early 2026) something has changed. Now it is consistently old, stiff and chewy and the taste is off. I don’t know what happened but after two months of disappointment it appears not to be just bad batch. Very disappointing.
