Buyer Beware - Multiple Design Flaws!

It does not fully heat up due to the 3/4" gap between the back of the grill box and the lid and the gaps between the sides of the lid and the sides of the box. After three hours of assembly, turned it on and 40 minutes later, it was only at 550 with the lid closed. You cannot cook a steak properly like that! So disappointed. Trying to figure out how to return this thing.

Quality bad, no warranty support or parts

Don't recommend. Sams doesnt have parts, wont support the written warranty, and grill components don't last long. Barely 3 years old, internal parts falling apart. Grill is under a pavilion, never wet, covered and maintained. Sams customer service stinks. So called Members Mark grill hotline is useless. They don't have parts, tell you to call Sams customer service. Sams CS tells you to call members mark. No one supports warranty claims. tell you to take the grill back to the store. not really possible if you don't leave near one and have a truck. Members Mark grill guy told me IF parts were available they'd be over $290 for what I needed. So...even if they have parts you're paying for them.

PSA: IGNORE OTHER BAD REVIEWS ABOUT BURNERS

Very happy with this purchase so far. Grill is incredibly sturdy and works well. You'll notice a lot of negative reviews that mention the center burners do not work — PLEASE DO NOT LISTEN TO THOSE REVIEWS! If you read the directions you'll notice that the center burners have different lighting instructions. I guess a lot of people don't read directions LOL ;) To get the center burners going, you light the outer ones first, then press and hold the center burners' knobs down for a couple seconds. Voila!

Don't work

So, no matter i do- 2 middle burners wont work. No gas coming out. Dont underatand. Need help.

The QR code was very helpful on assembling the grill. Only one thought if the parts were marked would make it much easier to identify. I like the extra hardware.
