Great grill, great price

My first "real" / "big boy" grill and so far love it. Looks sharp as heck too. My buddy tried it with me the first time and now demands I take him to Sams so he can buy one.

Bought this last week when they were on sale for $249! Easy to read instructions and there are some you tube videos on how to assemble. Very happy with it.

I love the grill but only after a few uses the outside lid started peeling. Sam's sent me a new lid and I am already seeing signs again of possible peeling Wonder if the cover sent with grill is trapping moisture and / or heat causing this?

I shopped for a new grill for quite some time and finally decided to purchase the Member’s Mark model G48101. I was very impressed by the BILT 3D instructions that were very easy to follow. The only problem I had was that the right door is a little uneven and doesn’t stay closed. I’m not sure if there is a solution to straighten the door.

Although it appears to be a beautiful grill and very fairly priced… even for avid do it yourselfers… for senior ladies over 65 the need to have 2 people to assemble it can be a deal breaker. Thus is the first grill Ive ever assembled and I had to use both the instruction manual and the BILT APP as neither adequately explained assembly on its own. Also, all my parts were labeled as “P” but the manual and app had “D” parts and the numbers didn’t always match. I passed the soapy water test so I’m hoping to enjoy the grill very much. You should ask for the review after I use it a few times…

This hits well above the price. Packaging was great, the BILT instructions were great. I put it together myself, took a little more time, but not too bad. I could appreciate that it was a pretty solid build as I put it together. The only part I did alone (where you should definitely have assistance) is putting the grill part on top of the stand- not that it is super heavy, but it's hard too center by yourself as you place it down. Other than that it can easily be put together by 1 person.

Good value at $350 and better still if you can get it on sale. It feels real solid and lit easily on the first try. I used 4 main burners and sear burner to reach ~625 degrees then used the 4 main burners on high for 15 minutes to burn in. Reduced all 4 burners to “5” for 10 min down to ~575 degrees and reduced all 4 burners to “1” for 10 min down to ~440 degrees. Still at “1”, opened lid for 10 min then closed lid for 10 min reaching ~375 degrees. Outside temperature ~65 degrees with ~10 mph onshore breeze and gusts to ~18 mph. This assumes the lid thermometer is accurate. I expect other than searing most cooking will at or near “1” on 2 to 4 burners.

The instructions were very straightforward. The unit was packaged very well with a lot of protective wrapping. Except for one scratch on the unit it was scratch and dent free. The animated instruction was quite helpful and except for a couple of screws that may have required Houdini to install. It was pretty easy. I had all the parts and hardware was nicely packaged and labeled. The unit is solid, sturdy and quite Mobile on the casters.

Setup was pretty easy, but only because I’ve got experience with assembly—the instructions were vague and not very helpful. The grill itself seems okay at first glance, but the wheels are very flimsy. There’s a slight drop from my garage to the driveway, and I don’t see them holding up long-term. The biggest issue? The regulator hose was defective right out of the box, so I haven’t even been able to use the grill yet. That was a big letdown and definitely took the excitement out of the purchase. You get what you pay for. Hoping once I replace the hose it performs better, but not impressed so far.
