[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Before buying this , I had an older side by side washer and dryer. It was very noisy and took forever to wash and dry our clothes. Our new unit is very quiet and has multiple settings that quickly washes and drys everything. Even the spin cycle, which was quite noisy on the old unit, is quieter and takes less time. We are very, very happy with our new LG.

My only negative thought is not having a detergent reservoir for more than one load. I just have to get back in the habit of adding detergent every load. Spoiled by our previous washer.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this pair for my upstairs closet in our condo.This unit looks sleek and modern. I love the lighted drums, the cycle finish tunes, and the gentle touch control panel. It is very quiet, both washing and drying. The berrings in my 7 year old washer died and were not worth fixing. The large capacity of the drums are terrific! Lots of room for blankets etc. I love the auto sensing technology too.The performance of this machine is excellent. It weighs your clothes in normal mode to calculate wash time. There is also a quick wash mode that will wash clothes in 30 min. It has all the other modes like bedding, or delicate that you would expect. Drying is equally competent. A normal load of clothes or sheets can dry very quickly!

We needed to replace our stackable units in our bathroom closet.We were able to see the tower at our local appliance store. They had it available and came out to measure the space. It is beautiful and adds to the bathroom instead of being an eyesore. The features are incredible.

Previous stackable (37 years old) died and there weren't many out there that would fit in its space. Trusted independent repairman ruled out several of them as being maintenance headaches but had not seen any problems with this LG unit so we went with it and so far have been quite satisfied. Although it hardly seems to be using enough water the clothes do come out clean, and it is not at all noisy. A minor annoyance is that you cannot manually change the temperature of the dryer's "Normal" function which is preset as "hot". Apparently you can adjust the settings using the app (assuming you don't have a 5G phone) but I'd find it a lot easier to just be able to do it for each individual load with the temperature setting button on the machine. Other than that I can't really imagine ever using the app at all.

I bought the new LG ThinQ wash tower and was terribly disappointed in the quality of the machines. The dryer barely worked on any of the settings. I returned the tower to the store where purchased. Happy that I didn't get rid of my older washer and dryer.

We bought this not long ago and are completely in love with it!! I love all the choices you have for the washer & the dryer. Everything about it is just fabulous! I wish we had bought this a long time ago. I’m telling everyone we know how great it is!

While we've only had this a month so far, it's been better than expected. The wash cycle is faster than we've come to learn for a high efficiency washer, which was a pleasant surprise. Clothes come out very clean. App is OK but usable. Integration into Alexa is really nice. Very nervous being a single unit how easy it will be to repair down the road. If one unit dies, you're throwing out the other half. They do come apart for repair and moving but that just adds to the time and complexity, which will be much more expensive for a repairman, and much more time for DIY repairs. Fingers crossed that remains to be seen.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit has a smaller footprint than other front loaders hence a smaller washer capacity.. We built our Laundry room remodel around this unit and it receives numerous compliments and we are pleased with our choice. The central control panel is in a perfect location especially for short people. The Built-in Intelligence feature is nice as it knows exactly what to set the dryer on based on your washing setting. Sometimes the settings are a little difficult to adjust so I have had to use the owner's manual quite frequently to change/alter the presets. I am sure it is just the normal learning curve. To get to the perma press cycle you have to download it using the WIFI feature. Initially we had some issues getting the unit to connect to our WIFI. I like that it prompts you to do a clean cycle after so many washes. We used the side vent feature which required an additional parts order. The doors are not changeable and they only swing from right to left. There are two main issues I have encountered.#1 If you have back and/or mobility issues the washing machine monthly clean/drain tank and the filter can be difficult to access as the drain door is located on the bottom left corner of the washer and you have to get on your hands and knees to access the door and the drain tube. #2 The washer tub sits approximately 9 inches from the floor so you have to really bend to get to the clothes especially since they often stick to the sides of the tub. This is not the unit for anybody with back issues.
