The space savings is great and having full sized washer and dryer that saves space in my laundry room is fantastic! They both work very well cleaning and drying my clothing/ bedding. I couldn’t be more please with both the sleek look and the great performance. The dryer sensors keep the clothes from coming out burning hot and saves on electricity. The control setting are so easy and functional for this short one! A little more expensive but it will save money in the long run.

I'm very disappointed in my WashTower. On month before the end of its first year the washer had a major failure. The washer started making a loud noise while in the spin cycle. I tried all the online help and the recommendation from LG. The until stopped working al together with a "te" error. That's when I noticed the hole in the wash tub. The Tech that came out said the tub had "slid on the drive shaft". He stated that he had to order parts and it could be several weeks before they can repair the unit. I'm now on my 2nd week of having to go to the laundromat. Needless to say I'm not very satisfied with the WashTower or LG

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have been a homeowner for about 18 years now and have gone through our fair share of washers and dryers. As a mom to a pre-teen girl who plays sports and a contractor husband, we constantly have laundry. We don’t just have laundry either. We have stained, muddy, greasy, and stinky laundry. THIS IS HANDS-DOWN THE BEST WASHER AND DRYER I HAVE EVER OWNED. We do roughly 10-12 loads a week and I have not been disappointed yet. I was a bit leery about purchasing LG, but after a house fire, we needed all new appliances including washer and dryers. We did our research and just kept coming back to this unit for size, price, look, and features. Upon installing it, I realized we’ve been missing out in life. The front load cleans like a charm and does not have that old stinky musty smell like other front loaders. I see that the rubber piece around the door actually has built in holes and I think the washer actually washes it in the cycle. The LED light is a huge plus for me too because we placed this as a built in to a small closet under our stairs, but in our bedroom so I can do a load while the husband is asleep and I don’t have to turn the closet or room lights on. I’m obsessed! All this talk about the washer and I haven’t even mentioned the dryer. I have never had a dryer that has dried my clothing or kept my clothing smelling this good. We’ve had all the big brands before and honestly, this one really works! The wrinkle function is keys to keeping my husbands tshirt collection looking awesome. Bravo LG! We purchased 2 units. One for our bedroom and one for our up stairs closet for our daughter to do her own laundry. Waiting for the husband to install that one, but for now, we’ve been using this for roughly 10 weeks and have been super happy!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was looking for a washer dryer stack that didn't look like the unit in my first apartment 40 years ago. I wanted a sleeker design and the space savings that a stackable unit provides. Installing this unit immediately gave me back half my laundry cupboard with full size capacity! It is quieter and doesn't "walk" when the spin cycle is high. The only drawback was the price. There is a premium for space savings apparently, but other than sticker shock, we are happy with the unit at present!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We have had ours for 6 weeks now and are amazed at the thorough cleaning and energy efficiency for both the washer and dryer. So many options, depending on the type of fabrics and type of washing they need. Everything comes out so clean.

After searching for a washer and dryer for a very tight space, we were happy to find this low profile set. Technology has changed and it never ceases to amaze us at how quick and efficient the cycles are on the machines. We haven't tried to down load anything yet because we are doing great with what is standard.

My mom is visually impaired and is able to use this machine which is wonderful! I love the large capacity in such a compact machine! Fits Perrin a small space!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] After reading all the reviews I had high hopes that this washer/dryer would do an adequate job but it seems like that isn't the case. As others mentioned the controls take a bit to get used to but after using it for a couple of weeks my view is that it's not too flexible when it comes to customizing the wash/dry cycles. I'm hoping that it's just me not knowing how to use it but I don't think that's the case. For my washes and drying I usually don't use the default settings since it's either not at the temperature I need or the length of time I need the cycle to last. With my old washers I can easily change the settings manually but with this unit I have to go through a somewhat extended process to achieve what I want. There really should be a way to save my choices as a custom setting so that I don't have to do it every time but it seems like there isn't. Another thing that's disappointing is that I don't think it's washing the clothes clean. I even used they heavy soil setting but it didn't help. My kid is in basketball and lately the clothes have been soaked with sweat. I used to not wash it right away and as you can imagine the smell of the clothes was awful. I had to presoak the clothes to get rid of the smell. This time I decided to wash it right away. Knowing that the sweat drenched the clothes I added Lysol pretreatment to the wash and set the soil level to heavy. When the wash was completed (to over two hours) I started emptying the clothes into the dryer but noticed that there was still some lingering scent is sweat. This leads me to think that the unit isn't doing a good job with the wash. As for the drying, similar to the wash there's not custom setting to save my choices. What's even worst is that I can't seem to find a way to manually set the unit to dry my clothes for longer than 60 minutes. If I known how restricting this set was I might have not purchased it. I'm hoping that LG can update their software to this unit so that it'll allow more customization. I doubt it but I can hope, right?
