I put felt pads under feet so that I can regularly clean dryer vent with ease, otherwise I can't move the machine. I must keep the doors open- if not puddles form in both washer and dryer.

I spent the first weekend washing everything I could find.and the combo worker like a dream. My only problem is getting WiFi working. Both units are easy to operate, quiet and most important, get everything really clean. My favorite thing is the little jingle it plays when they’re finished.

It's hard to believe that I am excited about a washer and dryer. My other stackable was noisy, the smallest load would make it unbalanced. My new LG is fantastic! It washes clothes like nobody's business, so quiet, it's not afraid of a larger load and it is pretty too! I love my LG washer and dryer, best thing I've bought for myself in years.

The capacity means I have to do fewer loads and large items like blankets and the dog bed actually get clean in a single wash. I like the AI because some loads end up taking a shorter time to wash or dry than anticipated. This is quieter than my old set. I even like the happy chime when a cycle is complete. I haven't used the 'smart features' that require a network connection or app, yet, so I can't say if they are useful. I was hesitant to buy a one-piece unit, but LG has a great reputation for washers and dryers, plus I've always replaced both at the same time anyway.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is our first L.G. washer and dryer tower. Replacing a stacked LG washing machine and dryer! So we are familiar with it's operation. But the tower is so much more functional. From having the controls in the middle. Wife doesn't need a step to reach the top dryer controls. The WiFi connectivity, the LG ThinQ app. That sends notifications about how much time is left. The selected settings. That allows you to pause and change them, WITHOUT having to go back to the machines. Ours are located on the first floor, of a three level home! Is SUPER convenient.... Just love that.

I absolutely love this wash tower. Not only is it a high tech product wonder, but is very user friendly and does a wonderful job cleaning and drying the clothes. The AI feature is amazing . I would highly recommend this unit even for those who aren't space restricted or have 2 separate units.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've only used my new LG washer/dryer a handful of times so far, but am very pleased with the performance I've experienced. I've always seen LG as a top manufacturer, but this is the first LG product I've owned. And it lives up to its reputation. I'm happy with the simplicity of such a sophisticated product. There are an abundance of options I can see myself using in the future, but right now, I need the ease of use my LG provides.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Have tight space & this is perfect, did regular loads, blankets, bath mats, bedding, winter jacket+snow suit, used turbo wash - haven't tried steam in dryer yet. Great capacity in both washer & dryer, so quiet, easy setting choices, uses considerably less water, even like the app that tells me load is finished.

Bought in November but didn’t arrive for install until early January so losing a month and a half on the warranty. This thing is far too loud. One of the spin cycles sounds like a turbine engine starting up. Dryer keeps giving the d90 blocked duct error code even after duct cleaning. It can’t possibly be blocked 90% if the ducts have been cleaned. It’s a beautiful machine but hoping I can get the error codes issue fixed. Considering sound-proofing the laundry room since we’re remodeling.

This washer/dryer combo is beautiful and is great for washing large items. However for my typical laundry (cotton tshirts, underwear, nice jeans) I am still trying to figure out how to make it work as well as my previous washer/dryer combo. I with the typical loads I always use cold water and dry at low heat. (I learned many years ago not to put my jeans in the dryer because they will shrink in length over time so I line dry them.) I was surprised to find that the only preset wash program that is suitable for my tshirts and tops is the delicate cycle as it is the only one that allows you to choose cold water. I am still trying to figure out the best Spin choice that will not leave the clothes too wet but not compress them so much that wrinkles are set in. As far as drying the tshirts and tops it falls far short of my older unit that this one replaced. First, NONE of the preset drying programs allow me to choose low heat; I have to use the app to download a Very Delicate program, and I would prefer not to have to use the app - I should be able to make choices in the presets for such a common usage. Second, my previous dryer offered a cool-down period with every heat level that tumbled the load with air only for about 10 minutes before declaring the load to be done. When I pulled the clothes out of the dryer they were unwrinkled and cool to the touch. This dryer has no such feature and even drying on low heat my clothes come out wrinkled; I need to experiment with setting different dry levels but I think that would just result in my clothes coming out damp. The Wrinkle Guard feature helps with not having to take the clothes out immediately but it doesn't make the wrinkles not appear in the first place. My biggest complaint is the amount of time it takes to dry out all of the gaskets to the washer's door after using it. Not only does the inside of the door and the outside of the biggest gasket have to be dried, but great care must be taken to dry the folds of the gasket in the door - there are two of them, and my fingers plus drying towel barely fit in the innermost fold. AND the door must be left open which pretty much makes the unit not compact with respect to the space it takes up. I only dried the inside of the door and the outer gasket plus leaving the door ajar the first couple of times I used it and that was not enough to keep it from having a strong mildew smell. So now I know that I need to schedule an extra 5-10 minutes to dry the washer after finishing the day's wash. Related is the filter at the bottom of the washer which apparently will need to be drained on a regular basis. This is the first time I've seen this in a washer and it is not an easy task. The little hose the comes out isn't long enough so to drain it I have to get a very shallow pan that is large enough to catch all the water or I'll have a wet floor. Another extra maintenance chore is the need to run a washer clean cycle. The manual says to do this once a month but I question whether I need to do it that often as I am a small household of one and I wonder if that frequency would be the same as for a large family. I really don't want to have to do this as I live in a drought prone area and my household water comes from a rainwater collection system. I've never had to do this with a previous washing machine and it seems like a huge waste of water to me. To sum up, my problems with this machine are: 1. The necessity to use the app to accomplish routine tasks 2. Lack of dryer choices which minimize wrinkles in the preset tasks 3. Lack of a cool down cycle (that I can find) with any dryer program 4. Washing machine should not have so much residual water which I have to clean out myself to avoid mildew 5. Washing machine should not need to be washed out on a regular basis (waste of water and electricity for hot water) and the filter should be easier to empty.
