Be sure to use High Efficiency HE detergent. Brochure is very well written and instructions easy to follow - I was worried about getting new machine that I wouldn’t be able to operate but no worries there.

With that said we've been remodeling and upgrading our appliances and found LG Electronics Wash Tower. This washer/dryer set is brilliant! There's different settings for small loads and with a built in memory it remembers your preferred settings. How cool is that? They have thought of everything futuristic possible! I'm so happy we went with this particular set! The washer/dryer drums are big which allow for several pairs of jeans or a king sized comforter. I love the way it can be controlled from any smart phone or device that's WiFi compatible. I can be in the neighboring town and start a load with a push of a button on my phone. That my friend is genius! The steam cycle is handy for sanitizing toys and such. Another feature I really love is the non wrinkle cycle. The dryer will turn on every so often until the door is opened or until a button is pushed indicating the cycle is done. I'm very, very impressed with my wash tower! Bonus part is that it's made by a company that we've trusted using in my family for many years. There's nothing more therapeutic than the smell of fresh cleaned linen! The wash tower is very quiet, in fact it can't be heard throughout our home unless you're in the room with it. It's definitely made laundry so much more enjoyable for me and my family. If you are looking to upgrade appliances I urge you to give this wash tower a whirl! I promise it will not disappoint! Now off to do another load of towels for the week ahead.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wish the solenoids for water flow were a little more dampened, they're very abrupt and cause some "water hammer" effect. Also, it was bit a of bear to get delivered/installed--by LG's delivery people! They pretended not to know how to unstack the unit and it took a cash bribe to get them to do the considerable work to get it installed in my condo. Final issue is the app/notifications are sometimes kinda stupid. Every 30-40 cycles it asks me if my hoses are hooked up properly, for example. Otherwise, it does a great job!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Cannot believe I am writing a review about a washer/dryer…but this thing is killer. We had our old stuff for the last 10 years and it was great. So we thought until we bought this LG unit! I haven’t done a scientific experiment to deduce this claim but here goes…Our laundry is cleaner, smells, better, less wrinkles, and more sanitary! I agree, it makes no sense why this is but it is! We use the same water, the same detergent and softener everything is the same except for the machine! It has to be that our old machine was just tired and I guess, smelly! Kind of like us when we age? Haha! So, do yourself and your laundry a favor and get this machine…it is wonderful!

I have been using this LG wash tower for about a month and I really like the washer/ dryer in one unit. It saves space but is full size and can accommodate king size bedding. My clothes come out clean and fresh and the dryer works great. I found this unit to be user friendly even though it is higher tech than my old unit.. It has minimal noise even on spin cycle and when finished instead of a buzzer, it plays a tune. I hope it lasts for many years to come!

The unit is compact, fits in an entry way closet, and washes like a dream. Absolutely no issues whatsoever. Plus the app tells me when clothes are done, and I can stop the machine mid-cycle if desired. Easy to load and unload. Would buy again in a heartbeat.

Less than 4 months in use and already throwing error codes. Of course they want to blame it on everything except for the machine. Come to find out this is a common issue and they don't want to cover it. They also did away with key cycles and made it very difficult to use on their app.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit has a smaller footprint than other front loaders hence a smaller washer capacity.. We built our Laundry room remodel around this unit and it receives numerous compliments and we are pleased with our choice. The central control panel is in a perfect location especially for short people. The Built-in Intelligence feature is nice as it knows exactly what to set the dryer on based on your washing setting. Sometimes the settings are a little difficult to adjust so I have had to use the owner's manual quite frequently to change/alter the presets. I am sure it is just the normal learning curve. To get to the perma press cycle you have to download it using the WIFI feature. Initially we had some issues getting the unit to connect to our WIFI. I like that it prompts you to do a clean cycle after so many washes. We used the side vent feature which required an additional parts order. The doors are not changeable and they only swing from right to left. There are two main issues I have encountered.#1 If you have back and/or mobility issues the washing machine monthly clean/drain tank and the filter can be difficult to access as the drain door is located on the bottom left corner of the washer and you have to get on your hands and knees to access the door and the drain tube. #2 The washer tub sits approximately 9 inches from the floor so you have to really bend to get to the clothes especially since they often stick to the sides of the tub. This is not the unit for anybody with back issues.

Already washed some silk pillow cases that my former washer could not get clean and with this washer they came out looking NEW and this was using the same detergent. Truly beautiful set! Excellent Laundry Manual included. Be sure to read before you use the tower.
