Easy to use app. Really like the quality of washing. I would like to see a feature added to the app for a scheduled end-time for washing, rather than a scheduled start-time.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to replace a stacked washer/dryer in my tiny laundry room. My dryer stopped working and after waiting two weeks for a repairman to tell me parts are no longer available and trips to the laundromat I was pretty desperate for a replacement. I had no idea this device even existed. I looked at other stackable ready machines and found some I liked, but they had to be ordered. Then I was shown the wash tower. And it was available immediately. It was impressive looking, but it looked so small compared to my current machines. I couldn’t imagine it could handle the same size loads. The drums were supposed to be full size and even though they looked big enough, I was still a bit skeptical, but I bought it anyway. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and I absolutely love it! It easily handles the loads and the height and design makes accessing clothes in both the washer and dryer so easy. I like the controls being located in the center between machines. I had a little problem setting up WiFi, but just watched videos online and finally figured it out. I still have a lot to learn, but actually almost enjoy doing laundry now.

I absolutely love everything this LG washer and dryer offer...except for one thing -- we have a SMART house, we have ordered most of the electronics to be linked with our Google Assistant, however, this equipment is not compatible with 5G wifi. It took us some time to figure it out--we called for support, we asked online, etc and it took us some time to DIG and find out that this was the case. The washer and dryer are great, but I cannot download a special setting or do the neat mobile things I would love to do -- which was the idea of why we purchased this unit

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Very pleased with my choice. This machine has a serious tech look, serious tech (quiet) sound and does serious tech things to care for my laundry. A well thought-out machine, it takes full advantage of the direct drive inverter motor technology, all the way down to the simple magnet to keep the washer door ajar so everything can dry out. Would buy it again.

It connected seamlessly to my home WIFI and the benefits to having connected appliances with the LG ThinQ app adds a great touch to the overall experience.

I just purchased the washtower. I’ve used it twice, and it didn’t work either time. On the first use, (1) the clothes were soaking wet after the wash, (2) standing water was left the drum, and (3) I had to wring the clothes by hand. A technician inspected the unit and couldn’t find the problem. The second time I used the washtower, it stopped FOUR times with motor errors. LEMON. After using it twice, I want a refund.

I love the center located controls which are all push button. The front load washer and dryer close quietly and operate very quietly. After an initial issue with a clogged vent (which the dryer told me about via the error message!) we are up and running again.

The tower is very stylish and runs quietly compare to our old set. We enjoy everything about this unit right down to the musical chimes that go off when the load is finished. We love that all the controls for both units are right in the center of the tower which makes adjusting them very easy. We are more than pleaded with our purchase. State of the art.

Purchased and installed a week ago. After running three loads over that time, today the washer quit mid cycle and will not power back on. The dryer panel works fine, but washer panel is dead. Called support, best advice was to unplug and hope for a reset. No luck. Washer panel is DEAD, DARK. We liked the size and looks of the tower. Very disappointed as I write this. Just noticed other review posted a couple hours ago, same issue. Sounds like a control panel issue. Waiting for call back from a LG tech.

When I choose the small load option it will set to 30 minutes. However after about 2 minutes it shuts off. I read something about the dryer sensor can not sense the small amount of clothes or something like that. In the manual it says the small load option is for up to 3 items. Well then what is the point of the small load option if you need to fill up the dryer with more items for the sensor to work?! Also I haven't been able to get the wifi feature to work. The washtower looks good but for the cost I am not overly impressed with this unit so far.
