I bought this washer/dryer for my one bedroom condo. I thought it would be a nice space saver for my condo, but am very disappointed. This washer is very noisy and I have had this washer for 3months and still have not been able to connect to the ThinQ app. This washer has limited wash cycles and smartphone app doestnt work at all. It is exactly what we were looking for style wise, but can’t handle the noise.

I've had this unit for around 18 months. I moved from a home with a large utility room to a larger home but with a utility closet that only accommodated a side by side and no room for anything else. I bought the LG stack and freed enough space for a folding table. The LG is the best laundry unit I have ever owned. The size is large enough to accommodate the family laundry. I love its efficiency; its capacity; it is fast and washes/dries everything loaded into it. The multiple modes, fantastic cycles will take care of every situation. I've done a lot of laundry over the decades. This LG is the best laundry machine I've ever owned.

Has not performed properly since I purchased it 8 months ago. Wash cycle takes over two hours, soap remains in tub when cycle stops, dryer always takes additional time to dry even small loads. Technicians say nothing wrong even though soap remind after cycle whe no soap was used. Used tub cleaner as recommended but no change. Presidential liaison did not follow up with me even though I sent Tarshunia several pictures. Disgusted with product and service.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Love the look. Love the fact that it is quiet. Love the size. I am disappointed that the wifi only works with 2.4GHz which I no longer have. I am also disappointed that when I put in the scent boosters, there is no scent after drying unlike my previous units. Also, the washer doesn't have a permanent press cycle. I would like more choices to easy customize to my preferences.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Ideally I was looking at a bigger LG washer/dryer combination but did not have enough space to have a separate washer and dryer. Upon doing research, I saw a lot of mixed reviews about this one but figured that everyone’s situation varies and you never know until you try it yourself. I’m glad I made this purchase as it fits perfectly in my bathroom space and is quiet enough not to disturb anyone in the home. Definitely recommend the gas dryer versus electric as I have read that they damage clothes compared to the gas dryer. I don’t have anything to criticize about this product as it fulfills the need for me and my family. Only annoying part was that it was back ordered but that’s out of anyone’s control due to covid19 etc.

I got these delivered last Wednesday and look an work great. But only problem is that the Specs say that doors are reversible but really are NOT REVERSIBLE!!! I have 36” in front of my machines an it’s annoying having to duck under the door or having to close the door just to get to the left side of the machines. I guess LG didn’t think the swings would be an issue. So Buyer beware - please check the door swing on this unit and make sure it won’t be an issue with your laundry room set up.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Replaced old “standard type” washer and dryer with the combined tower, what a difference! Far less water, noise and drying time. 2 drawbacks; have to dry the washer seal every time and it is super heavy so install was challenging up to 2nd floor.

I love the wifi connectivity through ThinQ. Great looks. Easy access to controls as the dryer controls are reachable and not 6 feet above ground!

We purchased this unit a little over 2 years ago, right before our child was born. Since then, we have used it 2-3 times a week and have kept up with the routine maintenance like cleaning out the drain filter and running a tub cleaning. Now that our kid is getting older, they are finding new ways of getting messy from things like food, dirt, and play activities (pens, paints, etc). This washing machine just doesn't seem up to the task of cleaning clothes that have any kind of noticeable stains on it. Pasta sauces, oranges, blue berries, grass, food grease, markers all leave stains that just WILL NOT COME OUT. We have tried everything we can think of - pre-soaking the clothes for >1hr in oxi clean, using stain remover sprays and scrubbing the stain before washing, putting laundry boosters in the wash, running on high soil cycle. The clothes just come out with stains on them still. Sometimes the clothes come out with dark splotches like oil/grease stains that weren't even there when they went into the wash. We've used a dozen different laundry detergents from the "free and clear" all the way up to the "maximum stain removers". Probably used a similar number of stain removers too. None of the other parents at our kid's daycare have this issue even though their kids are getting all the same stains, so the only conclusion we can come to is that this washing machine just SUCKS at getting stains out of clothes. If you have kids or are regularly getting your clothes actually dirty, you should really stay away from this washer.
