Excellent wash tower
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We bought this stackable wash tower this spring and love everything about it. Having all the different settings is great and I especially like that it uses less detergent and gets our clothes just as clean if not better. Great appliance....very pleased!!
Excellent product
I LOVE this system. The turbo wash makes it quicker to wash. The machine is not loud. It is a perfect size for my husband and I and all of the blankets we use for our two large dogs. I was disappointed when my washing machine died but now I’m glad it did. The unit is so much better than my prior washer dryer
Great features and great area saving
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is one of best washer/drier i have every purchased, it has a lot of smart features which makes laundry easy and less time thanks to Turbo wash. I like the sync feature were when the washer finish the cycle it send all data to drier to pre-select the options automatically. Super quite and stylish
Perfect little (actually big) machine!
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this unit to replace a stacked washer/dryer in my tiny laundry room. My dryer stopped working and after waiting two weeks for a repairman to tell me parts are no longer available and trips to the laundromat I was pretty desperate for a replacement. I had no idea this device even existed. I looked at other stackable ready machines and found some I liked, but they had to be ordered. Then I was shown the wash tower. And it was available immediately. It was impressive looking, but it looked so small compared to my current machines. I couldn’t imagine it could handle the same size loads. The drums were supposed to be full size and even though they looked big enough, I was still a bit skeptical, but I bought it anyway. I’ve been using it for a couple weeks now and I absolutely love it! It easily handles the loads and the height and design makes accessing clothes in both the washer and dryer so easy. I like the controls being located in the center between machines. I had a little problem setting up WiFi, but just watched videos online and finally figured it out. I still have a lot to learn, but actually almost enjoy doing laundry now.
wish i listened to reviews about lint
washer is decent but the dryer is horrible because there is a flaw in the lint removal system. the rubber gasket on the door needs to be cleaned every load because it attracts lint/hair/sand. after dryer is done and you open the door..all lint falls 6o ground from the gasket....the worst

Beautiful Looking SUBPAR Washing Machine
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I've had the LG WashTower for about a month now and love the look and compact size of the machine. Unfortunately, I am VERY VERY disappointed in its washing capabilities. It simply does not get my clothes clean. I've run a few test washes where I will lightly soil a light towel or old shirt (and I mean lightly soil with a spot of juice) and even after pretreating, washing on HEAVY SOIL setting, with 2 Extra Rinses the spot is still very much there. The clothes don't even smell clean. I assumed maybe there was a problem with the installation so had an LG tech come out and run some tests. The tech confirmed the machine is working as it should be. If you want an aesthetically pleasing washer dryer combo appliance, this fits the bill. If you want a decent washing machine that actually washes your clothes. I'd go in a different direction.

Waiting for LG to take responsibility
We purchased the LG Washtower on April 7, and the retailer installed on April 13, 2023. The washer makes a loud screeching sound every time the tub changes direction. Contacted retailer who referred us back to LG. Spoke to numerous LG representatives over several weeks/ Per one LG representative, sent videos showing washer noise. Never hear back. The retailer has decided to do an exchange.

Touch control panel not as intuitive as knobs
This replaced a washer/dryer with intuitive control knobs, so it took some time and experimentation to do what I wanted. The touch sensitive controls are not as intuitive. For example, I found myself pressing the top and bottom ends of the high/low range settings before I eventually realized it was a simple switch that cycled through all of the settings. It also took me awhile to understand that by clicking on the Timed Dry control when it was not lit, caused it to light up and the Temp Dry setting stopped being lit up. It would probably be better if all of the feature settings were at least dimly lit, half way lit when not chosen, and brightly lit when chosen. Those that are not lit cannot be read at all on the black control panel. One thing I was able to do on the old knob controls was to be able to change certain things after starting the wash or dry. For instance, when I start the wash and realize that the temp is not where I wanted to set it, or I wanted to add more time to the time setting, or change the dryness level. I do like the quiet operation.
Hi. Thank you for sharing such a detailed look at your experience with your LG dryer. We’re glad to hear the quiet operation is a standout for you, and we truly appreciate the thoughtful insight into how the touch‑sensitive controls compare to your previous knob‑style setup. Feedback like yours is incredibly valuable, especially your suggestions about lighting and ease of adjusting settings mid‑cycle, as it helps us continue refining the user experience. Would not purchase again
Washer Pros: small quick load cycle and sanitize cycle. Large capacity. Controls in the middles are nice. Dryer Pros: large capacity. Cons: I have to select each option every time I do a load. There is no favorite setting to save. A laundry basket does not fit under the washer door, I have to move it to open and close the door. I’ve never had a dryer that needed so much maintenance. Having to wipe down the door gasket for lint is rediculous. And I find gobs of lint in the trap opening that I have to remove by hand. Can’t select an individual wash cycle, you have to start from the beginning. This was not designed for a busy person in mind. I’m glad I didn’t have this when I had children living at home. I’m so sorry I didn’t research this more,
We hate to hear this and will be happy to pass your feedback along to our product developers.^Sandy
Not quite as great as I expected ...
We bought this 2 months ago to replace a broken washer of a different brand. Since we only have space for a stack system, I was excited about this unit, especially with a center control panel. So far the washer seems to clean decently though I haven't had any stains to wash out yet. The center control panel is very convenient. I was very disappointed to discover that the Fresh Care and Delay options that I had on my old machine, don't seem to be available. Nor can you program a customized setting. In theory, I could use the remote start as a pseudo delay option, but that assumes I will remember to turn it on later when I am out and about. On the dryer, I generally use the wrinkle care option. This is not on by default (not even in the permanent press option) nor does it remember the setting when I add it so I have to remember every time to add it. One benefit is that you can add it after you've started a cycle. The unit is supposed to recognize the settings I use often and automatically add them in time but that hasn't happened yet. Lastly, I find the LG ThinQ app disappointing and frustrating in the sense that you cannot modify the washer settings from the app. You can choose the various pre-programmed cycles provided but you cannot tweak them to add an extra rinse cycle, add wrinkle care to the dryer cycle, etc. I contacted customer service with some of these issues and never received a response. The system works well enough, but these various features, or lack of them, add up to creating a frustrating experience.
