Err from the start
Right from start up I am getting an err code. It won't even turn on. Judging by the reviews, it seems like they are going through a bad batch of control panels. They should recall them until fixed. The time spent getting the grill, setting up the grill, trying to fix the grill from tips from customer service, then trying to break down the grill enough to get it back into the car to return the grill is a lot. Going to return and try again, hopefully I get lucky with the second one. This is not what I would expect from members mark.

Defective Out Of The Box
Put this thing together on a Sunday with high hopes of smoking some chicken and ribs. Plugged it in after assembly and pressed the start button, screen came up as it should and then read Err after about 3 seconds. Tried over and over and kept getting the same result. Went to the manual for troubleshooting instructions, tried that about half a dozen times, no go. Called customer service on Monday, they said they believed it was the fire box sensor and they were going to send me one with instructions on how to replace it. Don't know about y'all but I don't really like to work on something that was supposed to work in the first place. Still waiting for the sensor a week later, very frustrating.
Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We're sorry to hear about your ERR code. We completely understand your frustration with not being able to use it right out of the box! My recommendation to you, while you are waiting for the part to arrive. Would be to watch the first start up guide video above. Many customers find it helpful. Front plastic temperature panel lifting?
Hi, overall satisfied. I've owned less than a year. The reason I'm not rating higher is the plastic temperature panel is lifting in a corner (see picture). I'm not sure if it wasn't glued down correctly, and/or, it's the quality of glue used. It was under a double grill cover under a roof so no moisture has reached it. Anyway, would appreciate from supplier on how to glue this back down please. I have. a picture but it's not letting me add it. If you contact me I can show what's happening. Thank you.

great
Anyone complaining about it in 2023, it must be a bad batch. I bought mine fall of 22 before they started to put them away for winter. $199. I have a offset but every now and then I just want to plug and play. I use it at least once a month with no issues. For what I paid for it, it's great. I had a pit boss that I paid about 4x more for that didn't work as good. So for me this thing is great!

So far so okay
This grill hit most of the check boxes I was looking for in a pellet grill. It is insulated very well and seems to be pretty heavy duty. No significant issues putting it together, but it is heavy, so I would recommend having an able body help load/unload and upright when the time comes during assembly. I've cooked on it twice and have a meal going on it this evening. That said, the weather yesterday proved windy and I needed a low temp setting. Set at 200, it would run hot due to wind. When using the “P1/P2/P3” functions to manually control feed rate, the grill was EXTREMELY frustrating. By design the “P” function (P1 increases auger feed rate, P2 is default, P3 slows auger feed rate) button is combined with the Celsius/Fahrenheit button. The upper half is labeled for auger rate and lower switches between degree selection. Well…It just did whatever it wanted when trying to change feed rate…sometimes it would work…other times it would switch from F-C or vise versa. This is hopefully just a learning curve but could've been easily avoided with a separate bottom
Thank you so much for taking time to leave a review and feedback of your experience. Your feedback regarding a separate button for the P setting and the F/C change has been passed along. Please note: A single press of the button will activate the “P” setting function.Alternatively, a long press and hold will activate the temperature function allowing you to change between Fahrenheit or Celsius (°F /°C).I hope this helps! Great Smoker When Not Throwing Errors During Use
I was very impressed with the build quality and features of this smoker for the price. I used it for around 6 months with no issues to speak. The smoker seemed very efficient with the insulated box and would for 16 hours on a hopper without any issue. After 6 months the smoker would start throwing an ERR code on the screen. I cleaned everything, used fresh pellets, etc. and it would still appear randomly. I had to return the smoker for a refund after not being able to finish a cook due to the unit repeatedly cutting off.

Temp control issues
Barbecue controls work great when barbecue is in the shade and it's cool outside. Seems that control setting and barbecue setting are very close. However once the unit gets in the sun the temperature goes up 50 to 60° inside the barbecue with the same setting on the outside when it was 250 smoked a pork shoulder and everything was fine in the morning came out after the sun was up and the barbecue that was running 250 was at 375. Almost ruined the pork shoulder very skeptical on operation of their controls in the sun would not recommend this product
Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We are sorry to hear there was some difficulty maintaining temperature in your Pellet grill. Please note that there is a P setting when using your pellet grill at low temperatures in the SMOKE setting. Which is designed for temperatures between 160°F to 200°F. The P setting is designed to give you more control of the temperature when cooking at low temperatures. The P1 and P3 settings, both require monitoring, as the auger will feed the pellets faster (P1) to increase the temperature, or slower (P3) to decrease the temperature depending on your cooking needs. There a few ways we would be able to resolve any temperature issues you might be facing. Refer to the troubleshooting section in your manual. There are a number of items listed that could be checked, such as the sensor, the fan, the condition of the pellets (are they wet/clumped together?). Alternatively, don't hesitate to reach out to the Member's Mark help center at: 1-888-301-0332 we would be happy to assist with any questions you might have or provide assistance with troubleshooting.
Awesome Pellet Grill for the Price!
So we debated on this one for awhile but then for the prices decided to go ahead and give it a try. I am sure glad we did! We love the extra large hopper, the spacious inside racks. I just finished smoking two turkeys and they turned out amazing. I give this one two big thumbs up! Only downside is no wifi controls or connections but honestly you can just set a timer and come and check on your meat right? Of spend three times as much and get one with wifi.
Thank you for taking time to leave a review. We're so happy that you're loving your new grill! Your feedback regarding the Wi-Fi and app capabilities has been passed along. Happy grilling!
Save your money or buy a name brand
After 5 cooks over less than 5 months, all I get is “ERR”. It starts to light but in less than 5 minutes it starts to shutdown and says “ERR”. After thoroughly cleaning it and getting the same result, I called customer support, and they thought a new temperature sensor would resolve the issue. Unfortunately, it only has a 90 day warranty, but they will cover the cost of the part as long as I paid $16 in shipping. I could have purchased a similar product with free shipping for $12. It didn't fix the issue. I love the size and layout of the cooking area, but if it doesn't work that part does not matter. I've tried switching other parts to aftermarket to make it work to no avail. Even at the low sale price I bought it, I can't recommend it.

I loved it for 6 months and then it died
So I got this pellet smoker grill last august, right before they went on sale for the end of the year. Right off the bat I had issues with the temp running way hotter than it showed on the display, that was due to using the sams club brand pellets. I ended up getting temperature probe kit to monitor the actual temps got some new pellets. the temps pretty much are rock solid. I don't go by what the display on the grill says since its like 20-50 degrees off on what my probes show. So after I figured out the little quirks, this grill is killer. I absolutely loved it and used it all the time, I cleaned it before every use to try to keep it in tip top shape. Well a couple of weeks ago, I went to smoke a corned beef for St Patricks day, fired it up, and went inside to do other things. When I went to check on it about 30 mins later, I had the dreaded ERR on the display, the only way to get it to run again was to unplug it, but it would keep giving me the ERR message. I pulled everything out, made sure it was clean. dumped all the pellets cleaned the auger, put in new pellets but I kept getting the ERR message. I came here to see if anybody else was reporting it, and noticed some reviews mentioning the same thing all right around the 6 month mark. I took it back to the store and returned it. I am hesitant on getting a new one so I didn't do the exchange. I don't want to keep having to go back every 6 months to return it (I had to take it apart to put it in my car) Bummer that they die at 6months, I really, really, really loved all the space this grill offered.
